Still waiting on the khaki selvedge twill rebuild. ETA end of September.
Picked up the Red Grid plaid via the random stock store opening over the weekend.
Waiting for my first chino (Navy American) to fund...and debating moving those dollars over to a flannel (that I don't need). Decisions.

I just got tracking info for my denim grab bag. At this point i'm interested to see what they're sending. I don't really know what some of G's coveted jeans are, so here's hoping they send something good

I have a couple orders that also claim to be "in QC" or "in final QC." Is this a new status? I've never seen it before, if it isn't. Maybe this means that G is finally stepping up their QC game?

Got my free t-shirt. Charcoal blend regular neck in large. Fit isn't bad, but the arms seem a little short. Putting it through the wash to see how it fares after a round in the Dryolator.

I haven't seen this personally, but it certainly makes sense given the issues that resulted from the Khaki Selvedge Twill run that was apparently screwed up. |

My Grey Silks also had an "in QC" status update late last week.
Oh, and the Silk Slubs, Japan Hunter Oxford, and a free t-shirt all arrived last week as well.

I received my denim grab bag today and they sent me the #230 Cone Superlight. I don't own any lightweight denim and this is supposed to be a 10oz fabric, so it's a keeper for me. And it sewn up to spec, so that's good too. The one and only downside is that we're approaching Fall/Winter so I won't be wearing these anytime soon  |

I got a pair of those and a pair of Japan Superlights, as well as an unlabeled pair that was probably either the regular or American standards in grab bags over the summer. For me, the one benefit of the grab bag is just what you alluded to, gaseousclay--that they probably had an extra layer of QC by being returned or extra stock, and thus were all to spec. Unlike 2 pair of 36 slims I had to send back (IxPersimmon and Italy IxI). ETA: actually, looks like it was Japan IxB, which makes me sad again... |

I went against my own words and backed the Japan One Sevens, well, because it'll be nice to have 2 heavyweight jeans for this winter. The odd thing is I just got tracking info for them. Any of you had this happen before? My guess is they had extras from a previous run.

I'm waiting for Blue17s and military twill chinos. I got a notice that the chinos are delayed a month and the 17s are beginning to ship the first week in October.
