anyone get info on shipping of Japan Summer sky? hoping to steal a pair off the stock store. Was thinking on it overnight and was funded and closed the next morning. Here's what my order status page says currently about the Japan Summer Sky: Production status: 7/23 update: Gathering materials. Fabric scheduled to be cut and bundled starting 8/3. Shipping dates TBD. |

Anyone receive their Khaki selvedge twills yet? I'm working from the last update from 7/23: 7/23 Update - Orders starting to ship now. We will continue to ship orders as they finish through the end of the month.Foolishly, I thought they meant the end of that month (July). But they didn't specify, so silly me.  |

Jean-Luc Jacquard has finally shipped, Hope to have it in-hand by Wednesday, which will clear my pending Gustin queue. I hope it doesn't suck.

I just did a massive overhaul of Gustin denims that I ordered, and Gustin CS hooked me. About $800 in credit card refunds and $100 in store credit (yeah, it really was that many things).

It was all my recent received orders, like in the last month. Were any of them off spec by even by a little amount? You should shoot them an email telling them so. |

New update on the #228 Japan Summer Sky
Production status: 8/11 update: Fabric has been cut and bundled and we are now in the early stages of sewing. We expect to start shipping orders the week of the 24th and will try to get out order sooner if possible.

Updates on the long-awaited Khaki selvedge twill (prior update was 7/23 stating orders would ship at the end of the month):
Production status: 8/11 Update - Your order had to be resewn due to a fabric flaw. Last orders slated to ship out in 2 weeks.

I forgot that they don't do 2-day on the shirts even though they charge as much, and then it didn't get to the post office til Tuesday evening, so I'm apparently not going to have the shirt until maybe Saturday. We'll see what happens, but apparently Cone-Luc Jacquard is making it's way under impulse power.

Finally, just down to the Loomies, Japan Desert Duck Chinos, and Pigment Dyed Crew Necks #2 (moss and rose color FTW). And then I think I'm out on Gustin until they can deliver a kickass indigo-dyed or heavy canvas workshirt, or 23 oz.+ denims again. Otherwise, I am through. FEELSGOODMAN.

And then I think I'm out on Gustin until they can deliver a kickass indigo-dyed or heavy canvas workshirt, or 23 oz.+ denims again. Otherwise, I am through. FEELSGOODMAN. I'm down to the Pigment Dyed V-necks #1 and the Japan Silk Slub. 35 slim seems to be my size, as I have just received a 35 slim, and it fits just fine. I will try it on again in the morning when I'm at my skinniest. |

Cone-Luc Jacquard snuck in for a Friday delivery like Locutus of Borg. This is a sweet fabric guys, and usual Gustin complaints aside, this one is going to be in heavy rotation. At a medium distance this reads a lighter blue (not a heavy indigo as the close-up sort of implies), but I only had time to grab one pic so I wanted to try to illustrate the texture. This is a cool fabric, I hope Cone is going to keep making these sorts of fabrics.

I think the only thing I'm really interested in out of them (at the moment) is more workshirts -- it's really their best cut, even with the prevalent length complaints. Has anyone here ordered the Gun metal chinos? Do they look or match the color of the photos? Mine looks more like the military slate color on the pics.... Mine are not as blue as I expected, but I like the color a lot. |
