After this weekend I guess I have a G starter pack coming in a few months. I don't have anything from them yet but I scooped the Nantucket Plaid as my first purchase and now I have the NIxP's coming along with the khaki selvedge chinos. Hopefully all goes well. I didn't know how much I would hate the wait ordering from Gustin until I started backing things, turns out I'm actually a spoiled child if I have to wait for anything past standard shipping times.

Canceled my vintage breeze plaid they refunded my credit card. Not crazy about the price, alignment, fit or shrinkage.
Plus I don't need more clothing

I feel like a glutton. Okayama Grey Shadow, Italian Midnight Shadow, and Indigo Herringbone shipped today. The weird thing is I think I'm most excited about the lowest priced in the bunch, the Italian Midnight. I think these are going to be super-cool.

Just backed the horween field notes cover. It will be perfect for holding a few business cards and taking meeting notes.

Eventually I'll get those natural OSB Cap-toe Trenches to match it. I almost want to go in on the Dublin, too, but that's ridiculous.

Matching shoes to belt is one thing, but shoes to field notes cover is next level.

Received the Italian Midnight Shadows today and they look and feel better I had anticipated. Beautiful denim, light and soft, and the weft is amazing. However, while the specs on my pair reflect those posted in the fit guide (classic fit) the top block is a bit tight. I really wish Gustin would offer jeans and shirts that fit athletic builds, at least in the classic fit, because I experience the same "not quite right" feel with the shirts.

Just got notice of shipping for the Product: #166 Italy IndigoXIndigo - looking forward to it and hope its not too tightly woven to be too hot for the next month.....then to debate about hemming or cuffing

Turns buttery soft after a relatively short break in. They don't stretch as much as some of the others, say the Okayama standard, and they certainly bleed a lot! Wear black shirts and be careful of sitting on white or light colored stuff.

Black2's were suppose to ship this week. Just got an update staying they were starting to ship this week and will ship over the next two weeks. At least it's not lawless waits but Gustin has been getting longer and longer besides the random they had it instock and shipped it deals.

It makes me nervous that this will turn into the Japan 17 debacle from winter. I waited 4 months and several email exchanges of "next week" only to receive the dreaded 1% letter from them. If it happens with these or the other three orders I have in the pipeline I may have to end my Gustin addiction once and for all. It's too much drama for a effing pair of jeans.

Waiting on my Italy Cashmeres to ship as well, slated to ship in the beginning of this week. I suspect I'll get them in June, which is fine.

Received the Periwinkle Plaid, nice shirt but the swatch and the shirt are very different. The plaid is much smaller than the images suggested, so the swatch is somewhat misleading. It's a nice plaid nonetheless. However, Gustin overvalued the shirt by $59 on the shipping label, a recurring problem, especially when Customs applies fees based on the error.

Italian midnight shadow fabric is really cool. I'd love a WS made from that fabric.
On topic - waiting for the Japan Big Slub. First campaign I've backed in a very long time, looking forward to them.

I love the super soft weft on the midnight shadow, they were definitely comfortable right out of the bag. Big slubbers is gonna be sweet, and they'll arrive right in the middle of the 90 day no spend, so that'll be neat, too. I've been really impressed with gustin lately, haven't been playing size roulette, jeans have been fitting exactly as they should... Now if they could just figure out that patterned shirt thing.

I just got in finally on the Khaki selvedge twill. I think it's a great alternative to the mix without taking the dive into the G khakis. It's actually the most expensive G clothing option I've purchased ($1 less than the first run duffel with shipping). I never jumped on the higher priced ones, but maybe I'll consider more in the future now that the means are more available...just in time for the 90-day break: 3 pants (2 G, 1 CF) and 2 G shirts arriving over the summer.
