The only delivery I'm waiting for is the BxB trucker, but that's 2 months away. Just thought how funny it would be if my BxB trucker arrived before my Lawless oiled cruiser, which is currently at 5 months of waiting

They seem to be able to trick me every gol-darn time. 4/23 "orders to start shipping 4/24 and into the first half of May", 4/30 "in finishing, will start shipping May 4th". I can't figure out who's not learning their lesson here. The guy at the shop telling Gustin stuff, Gustin for believing the shop, or me for believing Gustin.

Well, instead of just whining... Really looking forward to the arrival of both Indigo and Moss Herringbone, Italy Midnight, and Okayama Grey Shadow over the next week or so. Electric Blue Plaid should be shipping by about mid-May as well, thinking it'll look great with either of the last two, probably color and texture overkill if combined with the herringbones. The Hunter Oxford is probably right about mid-summer. Excited to get in the Taupe right about the same time, and the seafoam oxford rounds out the stuff I've got in progress (though that's not gonna be funded for probably another week, Taupe should wrap by Saturday). I'd like to jump on the Corduroys, but way too much going already, and I think I need to start spreading the love. Oh, and big slubbers plus the downtown brown. Those are coming too. I'm suddenly embarrassed. So then I stole this from the Internet:  |

5/7 update says they're shipping the herringbones, midnight shadow and Okayama shadow grey or whatever starting now, but at this point it's gonna be next week before I see any of it, unless it's one of those finished="expecting them to be delivered any moment, maybe" sort of situations, in which case June is in the realm of possibility.

Sold my super heavies on eBay for $123. Kinda happy I trimmed the collection down a bit. Sold like 5 pairs of jeans. Gap, levis, full count, PRPS and these super heavies trimmed the collection a bit.
Still too many pants!

For what it's worth, my moss herringbone shipped 2day, Electric Blue Plaid shipped first class, which puts the shirt into next week for delivery (though USPS has surprised me on these before). Anyone know why Gustin ships shirts and jeans differently? Guess I hadn't noticed it before, but they actually identify it when you're choosing shipping. If I get charged the same why not send them all 2day? Why can't everyone be amazon? Oh yeah, cause amazon loses tons of money on shipping.

That's pretty much it...a flat heather grey sweatpants color. The weft isn't black as advertised, it's a darker charcoal grey, so there isn't the black show through like in their pics. Debating on whether to send them back. I don't have any grey jeans so I may keep them. If you already have grey jeans and thought these would be a nice supplement to your grey jeans collection you may be disappointed. Sorry too lazy to post pics, but there are/were some up on Ebay and the pics are accurate |

I've done the same - sold off 4 pairs already (2 G, 2 LD) and I'm trying to keep my future purchases limited to what I don't have yet (Italian IxI and CF Texas in the pipeline), hoping to see something "nep" returning soon. I'm also debating taking the dive on olive green denim - been discussed before, between the CF and G offerings, unless something new and completely different turns up in the interim. In the meantime, I've been focused on shirts. Got the red/white/indigo plaid on the way. Really debating the "Indigo Twill w/grey, but it's not slate twill even though they look the same" and the Sun & Sea. |
