Fired off another what's up email about my heavy caramel chinos. It's been two weeks since the last status update, so that no longer qualifies as "soon".

Heard back from Ren, they should be shipping this week. Weird man I guess I called it. I just got a shipping notice for the heavy caramel chinos ( I backed second run not first) thanks to who ever canceled the 36slim order. Hbones backed in November still not shipped heavy caramels backed in feb slated for May ship on 3/17! |

I know I'm jaded, but I'll believe it when I see it. They should really send these priority instead of first class. Odd my orders in the past came priority. Did they switch to first class recently? I was gettingy jeans in padded flat rate packages forever. |

It's luck. People backed them for the first order, BAcked out, we backed the second offering and got lucky. Shocked the heavies shipped before the camel hbones. Pretty weird.

Well to be fair, the Camel HerBones were fully funded in the middle of December, which puts it at a little over 3 months, and under the 4 month panic mode time frame. |

They were slated for feb delivery. 2/18 they said would ship last week feb into first week of march. And every week ivd email them and it turned into next week each time.
Not sure maybe they are having chino issues when it comes to production?

The only chino deliveries I've heard of that have taken less than four months are the obvious "these are leftovers from the campaign that we just shipped at four months". They continue to put three month timelines on them, and continue to ship at four. I dont' know why Gustin hasn't caught on to this pattern yet, but if I were in their CS I would simply say "we were ambitious with the delivery timeline on these, they are going to be four months to delivery", and then adjusting the delivery timelines moving forward. They're trying to force a four month shop into three month delivery. You'll notice, however, that the army green in the store right now are scheduled to ship in December 2014. |

Got a shipping notice on my selvedge khaki chinos! Miracles do happen!
I'd they hadn't shipped this week I was going to cancel them. Now just hoping there on spec (which it seems like all the recent chino ruins have been).

I just got $86.00 in store credit--I really hope that doesn't mean my Japan 17s got cancelled..
Ren cancelled a t-shirt order for me earlier and I just noticed that I have WAY too much ($130, I should only have 44, 130-44=86 = the price of my 17s).

My alternative will be to back another pair and wait 3 more months. That'd be 7 months to get my first pair of Gustin denim. Absurd. |
