No, no, clearly he's in the market for a Prius. I would rather drive a F150! I can't tell you my hate for people that have a Prius and put the "I'm electric" Sticker on the hatch. It's pretentious and reeks of douche baggery.

I just can't stand how they're either trying to hypermile in the center lane, screwing up the flow of traffic, or going 90 in the left lane, at which point it makes you wonder why they'd buy an efficient car only to drive like a jackass and lose all the efficiency.
Or it could just be that 99.999% (FIVE NINES, YEAH!) of the idiots on the road are Massholes.

Perfect zombie apocalypse car. Pity they won't sell to a US address, only Canada.

Defenders are grey market cars everyone in the states is basically illegal.

No they're not. 110's and 90's were sold at Land Rover dealers in the 90's. Earlier (and later) models are grey market, but there are hardtop and convertible 90's with manuals and automatics and auto only hardtop 110's that were all US sales. Nothing like an old Buick V8 and an 88mph drag limited top speed. m.caranddriver.com/comparisons/land-rover-defender-90-page-7

Right. That article is about pre-legally imported models. Much like one shop in Sante Fe sold grey market (but legally imported) MB Gelandewagens before MB USA started to sell them. You see all sorts of two door, convertible, and diesel G Wagens running around New Mexico. If you buy a Defender originally sold by a LR dealer, you don't have to worry about this sort of thing. But there are plenty of grey market ones in the country with various degrees of legality.

I'm glad I shook the want of a new vehicle. I blame peer pressure.
Back to my roots. A random assortment of vehicles that are unnecessary!
Looked at a 71 chevelle original 250/power glide not the most sexy of the muscle cars but was in good shape.
Also checking out a built nova SBC 350/700r4 combo.

I've been eyeballing a late 60's Caprice or Impala. I want a land yacht. Speaking of trucks, I have an '07 Honda Ridgeline and its been amazingly dependable, much more so than any other car or truck I've ever owned.

And I wouldn't buy used, if it's not certified. I'd rather pay more for peace of mind. Certified warranties are legit, and you can haggle warranties as well at the dealership. Nothing is unhagglable at dealerships.

I like the ridgeline my buddy had one. I like the cooler in back personally. I have looked at the tundras. I would rather have the V8 for towing. It will pull a car trailer every once in a while.

I never thought I would get used to a V6 truck either (Had two 5.4L V8 F150's prior to the Ridgeline), but I don't tow as much as I used to and appreciate the versatility of the Ridgeline much more than what is lost in towing. (Ridgeline is rated at 5,000 lbs. towing which is probably a little conservative.)
One thing to note--the Ford Ecoboost V6's can tow something like 8500 lbs which is damn close to the V8.

I always saw the Ridgeline as a Honda Pilot with a bed. Honda pushed more form than function with the Ridgeline, and they did a lot of cool things with their pickup in the form of aftermarket parts and accessories.

All true, although it is in fact a very functional vehicle IRL. The Big Ridgeline Fans that hang out on their forum are as insane as you would expect, but they always seem to have answers and cool hacks for stuff which I appreciate.

If I lived in Florida I would have a bike no doubt about it. I mean I have one now. But you get 12 months out of them I get 8-9 if we keep having these winters.
