I've left them on my Wabi Sabi. My wife has chased after me with scissors. I tend to think I'm being attacked by spiders. I will likely lose them come cold weather.

My wife said it looked too [insert un-PC word often used to describe Jersey Shore type Italians that starts with a G]. Maybe it was the combo of the runoff and the wabash that caused that type of unsolicited and hateful attack. But I assured her that I'd be cutting the ass tassles off my shirt. |

I'd put the current reasoning on them remaining there at
10% because that's what the cool kids do
90% because it annoys my wife

I cut them off my Wabash because I just thought it looked stupid and unfinished, certainly to the non-selvedge savvy population which is probably 99% of everyone else. I still have it on my black denim shirt, though, and am now in two minds about it.
If it wasn't there, I couldn't care less (could care less, in American), but as it's there I'm wondering is there a deeper reason.

I keep them. I'm sure someone will end up cutting them off me. I don't get bugged by them at all.
