No, it's not lol. After the first 5mins, I was 100% regretting it!!! It was stubbornness and refusal to look like a wuss that made me finish the tattoo.
Honestly, I have NO IDEA when I'll be able to amp myself up to go get more of it completed lol

I don't even want to be in the same room as one.

After wearing them at work for a day, my synopsis is that 10" IS too high. I got home, and did what I know to do with new boots..... Throw them ok n a run of hot water! Many will say "Blasphemy!", but I know it WORKS for molding new boots... The fit was already GOOD, but it's GREAT now. And, I scrunched the shaft down while wet... Once again, many would say "BLASPHEMY!", but, I'm definitely happier now that they are shorter and not so pristine. Can you expand on what you mean here? What's the process? I'm waiting on a pair of engineer boots and I want them to look more like this as soon as possible.
By the way, your own boots look great, and they're only going to get better.

I just ran the hot water and filled the boots up with it until I could see the leather was soaked. Once the leather was saturated, I let them sit for 5-10mins before dumping the water.
After I dumped the water, I put on my boot socks, sat down put on my boots and waited until I could see the leather was starting to dry.
I unless your boots are too small, you shouldn't walk much while they are drying because you will stretch the leather. I stayed stationary, because my goal was to slightly shrink the leather.

So hindsight you should have gotten a lower boot? Or wider calf?

This is commonly done to break in hockey skates. It molds the leather to your foot.

This guy knows everything you ever need to know about boots and how they should be broken in.
He may be somewhat alternative, but he knows his onions and I respect his passion.
His site taught me a lot before I plunged for my first pair of Wesco Boss.

His clear hatred and disrespect for color theory upsets me, but I'll take a look through his site regardless. Edit: the complete lack of anything made by Red Wing is kind of weird within the context of that many different pairs of boots. Edit 2: also avoid anything he has to say on his site about anything other than boots. Unless Texas fuddy-duddy is the look you're going for.

Lower boots. 6-8" is my sweet spot, being that's where combat boots fall in to. It's ideal comfort for me.

So far I've undergone about 20 treatment sessions and this bad boy is fading, but not gone. Your tat is sweet. It'll look great once its done. Keep at it.

So is tattoo removal really as painful as they say? How big is your tat?

As I am a giant nerd, my most recent purchase is 75Mbps/75Mbps interwebs speed. Now I shall truly be a low ping bastard.

Mine covers the area of about a computer mouse pad, so a treatment takes a while. Lately I just do 25% of it per session. The good news is that after about 5 minutes, your body simply gets used to the intensity and it becomes bearable. The first few minutes are the worst.

I hear removal treatments are crazy expensive on top of being crazy painful.
