John Fluefog is a boot and shoe maker with stores in The United States and Canada. Most of his styles are unusual, but I really like this new boot called the Edison! Here is the link to the website I found them on. and they also come in black. The construction looks very good. Has anyone worn a pair of his shoes or boots?

if only @rex was still around. i think fluevog's women's shoes are typically better than their men's lines. i know women who have fluevogs that are 7-10yrs old and still their favorite boots/shoes. but...it seems the soles of their men's shoes don't hold up very well. i know a few guys that have been disappointed with how theirs have held up, and the ones i've tried on have had weird spongy soles...though none were boots with construction like what you've linked. @rex had a few pairs and i think he was generally happy with them, but his pairs were flashier shoes...borderline novelty pairs.

I had some Fluevogs back in the mid 90's, big square toed boots with a round buckle on the side.....if Frankenstein's monster wore short engineer boots....and had waist length hair.
They were OK given the times and all but the leather, specifically the dye workmanship (black) was really shoddy and cracked/flaked. I bought them at the Fleuvog store in SF, put them on, walked about a half mile from the store and got hit on by the scariest 300lb biker I've ever seen. Almost cut my hair that day. Looking back after 10 years of head shaving, I wish I had.
Back on point and in agreement with @david, my ex wife has 15 year old Fleuvogs that look great. My experience with the men's shoes was not so good.

With so many good boot makers here in North America, whats the point in something made overseas, unless its the price?

At the same time, though, these have some pretty cool details (the grey and yellow colorway is pretty sweet, too): but then you can also get them like this:
