Glad to see they are back up and running. Let us know what you think of them. Hard to pass up at that price.

Good Find! Dickies 1922 colection has this priced over $150 (if I remember correctly).

I snagged a pair of these in British khaki for $29 as well. I will absolutely have my tailor (he rules, so lucky...just wish he had a Union Special for my jeans...) taper these puppies as they are cut...generously...in the legs, but at $29 plus the $25 taper job, so what! It's definitely worth it. $54 versus $150+ everywhere else. Bigtime score. Thanks so much davelewis.

Do you think/know if these are vanity sized ? They are not. The 36" comes in at 36.5" according to someone on "Ask Andy About Clothes," who also measured a handful of other pairs for comparison. Here is what they had to say: Alright - broke out the tape measure here to verify my guesses.
Duck Head Waist: marked 36", actual 36.5" Rise: 11" Leg width at crotch: 11.25" Leg width at hem:9"
Bills M2 Waist: marked 36", actual 36" Rise: 12" Leg width at crotch: 12.5" Leg width at hem:9"
JCrew Waist: marked 36", actual 36" Rise: 11" Leg width at crotch" 11" Leg width at hem: 8.5"
BB Advantage Chino - Clark Waist: marked 36", actual 37.5" Rise: 11.5" Leg width at crotch: 12" Leg width at hem: 8.25"
Polo RL: Waist: marked 36", actual 36" Rise: 11.5" Leg width at crotch:11.5" Leg width at hem: 8.5"
Pretty much accurate guesses earlier. The BB/Bills are a bit more generous up top in waist/rise and crotch width, the Duck Heads trend toward the Polo RL/JCrew end of the chino spectrum.

Good Find! Dickies 1922 colection has this priced over $150 (if I remember correctly). Since "Cramerton Twill" is used by a lot of manufacturers not necessarily the same cloth though. Some history here for those interested www.textilehistory.org/CramertonMills.html

Some history here for those interested www.textilehistory.org/CramertonMills.htmlI believe Galey&Lord to hold the license for "Cramerton Twill". I know I've seen different weights, but what I've seen is 8.2--9.4oz?, something like that. There is also some fabric called Bullard Twill, which is heavier, and supposed to be the bomb. Bills Khakis offers it from time to time. I would be surprised if more than one mill made it under that license though.

@wiskeyriver good info to have thanks, and in my size! I got these in, and would say very pleased. For $29 bucks, I challenge someone to find a US milled fabric like this, and made in the US, for the money. Better yet, they fit me great. To me they are a Summer weight chino, as I usually wear duck, and heavy denim, so 8.2 if about as light as I'd go. Nothing fancy, as they don't have a lined waistband, like Gustin, but appear to be well made, and have a true chino hem. I would describe the fit, as something like a relaxed Gustin, which is what I have been looking for. I got a pair in 34x34, and compared to the specs on Duck Head website, the waist was acurate, but they measure with the front rise lower than the back, and not like Gustin measures. A Gustin measurment would yield 34.5 or so. The guide calls for a 13" thigh, but my pair measured 12.25", one inch down, to 12", two inches down, with rest of dimensions pretty close. Nice fitting in the top block, with the right amount of room the rest of the way down, to be comfortable, but not baggy in any way. I like my Gustins, but really like the material, more then the fit, and these Duck Heads to me are what a well fitting, casual, knock around chino should be, at home drinking, or wearing out in your favorite boat shoes, etc. No socks of course.
