I thought I'd share my experience in washing my Natural 2s that came in as under spec'd 36 slim. I know a few of you received these under spec as well and most of you probably sent them back. I kept mine, though, as they worked pretty well as they came. Long story short on washing, don't do it. I washed mine in cold with a hang dry and they shrunk like unsanforized denim. I lost at least 3 inches in the length and probably closer to 4 if they came in to spec. Before, I needed a double 2 inch cuff. Now, I don't need to cuff at all. They're sitting at about 32 inches in length from a (supposedly) 36. I didn't measure the length prior to wash but from previous experience they seemed right on. Front rise is ridiculous at just under 10 inches. Waist is right at 17.5 and this was after wearing them for a couple of hours to see if they would stretch. I didn't measure waist prior to wearing them post wash but they had to be around 34.5 as buttoning was a real challenge.
Also, I think this is where Gustin's model doesn't work for them, experimenting with different denims and all and not have the experience of what that denim is going to do post ownership. How will it behave with a wash, how will it wear etc. I have read this criticism before and didn't really think too much of it until now. This is an incredibly frustrating experience.
Here's total measurements for where they sit right now. Again, this was a COLD WASH, and HANG DRY.
Waist - 35
Length - 32 and some change Front Rise - just under 10 Thigh - 24
Knee - 17
Cuff - 14.5
