Good find, which color did you get (the wool Pointer Brand being sold there looks great, too)?

Went with the brown one. I like chore jackets. So a three pocket, wool French made is a nice spin on one.

Let us know what you think of it. I've eyed the moleskin version several times. I've purchased from HES before, great service and a selection that is unique.

Got the 30% off. $98 (of coarse I'm now $2 below the free shipping on anything over 100:)

Recieved the jacket yesterday. To BIG. They said these are big and to check the fit guide. But the jacket measured up 5 inch wider then the guide. br]I usually would wear a large or XL and ordered a size 4 which by the guide would be great but feels more like an XXL. Eye-Hand Supply is taking it back no problem there. But there is no longer a size 3 for me to exchange for. Didn't spend to much time examining the jacket (it was 85 and humid). Quick initial thoughts - very nice, bigger box cut (might feel less boxy when I get the right size) but should allow for layering, thick but not to thick, nice raw wool (yes a bit itchy), sleeves and arm holes had plenty of room, very nice well sewn on Buttons.
Will do a better review if I ever can get the right size.

If it doesn't work for you I'd be interested in the 3 you have.

How did this work out for you guys?
I just ordered a 5 based on the measurements.
I've been wanting something like this for awhile so I'm pretty excited about it.

Once it drops below 30 for a few days I'll break it out. I found the sizing to be way off. Kind of forgot which size I ended up with. But plan on that 5 being very big. I found Hand Eye Supply to have very good CS. It's not a fitted jacket but that's what I like about. It's a true wool chore jacket with good movement.

Ok thanks.
So maybe I should just size down to a 4.
The 4 is very close to my shirt size.
More fun with internet clothing!

If I remember correctly, the fit guide and the actual jacket was off by 3+ inchs. What size shirt do you usually wear? I wear a XL Gustin and a 44 TS. I ended up getting a size 3 in the jacket with plenty of room.

I'm unsure if each jacket is sewn up different or if the fit guide is off. So you may be good with a 5.

I ordered a size 2 from Hand-Eye on Monday but am still waiting for confirmation re: shipping date. Would also appreciate measurements for a size 3 so I get a rough idea! Thanks.

Its morning enough. PxP - 24.5" Shoulder - 20" Back length - 30" Thanks! If that's anything to go by I guess the size 2 could be 23-23.5 inches p2p which would be too big for me unfortunately. May try and drop them another message now just to double check.

I tried on a couple of these earlier in the year and the wool jackets, while the same tag size, are substantially larger than the cotton/twill jackets.
The size three in the Cotton is about 23" pit to pit, don't know the measurement for the wool but it was noticeably larger, I guess they are cut more for layering.

Ok.
After doing some more math and comparisons to other outerwear I just emailed them and asked to change my 5 to a 4.
The 4 has a 51.5 chest vs. 54.5 and my outerwear comes in between 46 and 49 so looks like I would be swimming in the 5.
Thanks for all your help guys.
