Tomorrow will mark a full month since I got an update for my shirt as "shipped" I thought the word from the ex-employees here was that they simply weren't doing shirts, despite what you might have been told. Don't waste any time, just request a chargeback from your bank before the whole ship sinks under.

Tomorrow will mark a full month since I got an update for my shirt as "shipped" While I do not, in any way, mean to excuse or play down the catastrophe that is Lawless, a friend of mine got a 'Shipping notice' around a month before his jeans were actually delivered (to the UK), so it's still possible yours might turn up. Please don't take this as any indication that they will, but I think it's reasonable and fair for people to know that some orders are still being fulfilled. And I'm saying this as someone who's well aware that I'll never see my second order arrive.

Get your charge back, and if your product comes in, and you feel bad for getting a charge back and getting your product, buy a Groupon belt. Otherwise just keep it because the wait you had to wait for your product justifies you receiving your product for free.

I want to believe.
Since I payed for the LD shirt, I've gotten the H-bone workshirt from G and a G-Cone workshirt from Grailed. Also a denim Nudie trucker and a RT supply jacket. But, dammit I want that 5th layer of denim cause chicks dig the layering!

DO NOT BELIEVE. DO A CHARGEBACK.

I see on the Yelp page that the Phoenix store is marked as closed. Is this a new development, or am I just catching up? The reviews there are always good for a laugh, but I feel their pain.

Hi mate, i think yelp have said that according to yelp reviewers Lawless is closed. Probably a response to the refusal to pony up and answer phones or reply to emails. I have visions of that slimy grub trying to reach the Mexican border with a boot full of cash and rolls of denim in a rusted out fastback mustang. I hope he ends up at the titty twister from Dusk till Dawn.

Cone Selvedge Women's jeans- custom Welcome cliffmack to the Forum. We have pretty well beaten these threads up as if they were Roman himself. Feel free ask any questions but don't expect much. We all got caught up in the LD hype and some got screwed over more then others. Hope your Girl isn't to much on your back for not getting her jeans. At this point if you haven't already, contact your CC for a refund.

Knowing that LD@co. are out of business, and we will never see our clothing we all have been waiting a long time for. Can the information from all these unfulfilled orders we have been compiling be used in a lawsuit against LD@co? or against James Roman Acevedo? My thought was like a type of class action lawsuit that happens to corporations. I know that Lawless Denim was classified as an LLC. anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I haven't been paying attention - did they file for bankruptcy protection? How much did you lose? And is that amount worth it to file some kind of claim and get in line as a creditor in a bankruptcy case? I suspect you'd have to file locally in Phoenix. Maybe there are enough people who lost money that some lawyer could make a class action out of it. I don't know what the criteria are to bundle individual claims into a case like that. Also, I'd be surprised if LD had much in the way of cash or assets that could be liquidated to pay the claims. He might have to sell all those Union Specials. p.s. Not a lawyer. p.p.s. As many people have said before, charge backs are your best option.

There was a couple of pages of posts on this before, then all the posts disappeared. Not quite sure why but I guess it will all out in the fullness of time.

There was a couple of pages of posts on this before, then all the posts disappeared. Not quite sure why but I guess it will all out in the fullness of time. I think the general consensus of the mods what that they were over the drama of Lawless denim and wanted to refocus on providing information on what to do for a refund and/or if someone actually receives an item. I believe there are some posts on the order update thread regarding the next steps with the Arizona Attorney General. I've heard similar grumblings regarding local media investigating them as well. But, the general consensus of the thread is that it doesn't need to be fanning the flames of drama. Any information that is helpful to consumers should be shared with respect to all or most parties involved.

I guess I was venting a bit when I posted earlier today, I was not trying to cause any more problems for the Mods on this forum. I was on the telephone for over and hour with a representative from my credit car company trying in vain to get a charge-back from my November 2014 order for the jeans I purchased from LD&co. I will just have to accept that Roman took my money and I received nothing from LD@co but anguish and a learning experience about how risky it was to try and support a new denim company.

I wrote to them including a few prints outs of Lawless order updates/delay announcements, emails and the last couple of their blog posts. I generally find you stand more chance of your communication reaching someone who can do something if you write rather than call, but that's just me experience.
Do appreciate the frustration of having paid for something you didn't get.

We are leaving all the nasty details here for folks to read, but it's not going to be "Following the Kardashians" here. We had our rants and now it's time to let that nasty bit of past go away. Lots of people got ****ed. Including us (me anyways). I'm not even calling my bank because the amount of money isn't worth the taste of dog excrement I get thinking about LD et al. I just hope they all fade into the sunset...
