I had a different experience with American Express. I did have the issue with 60 days. The rep spoke with their manager and they were not able to open a ticket due to the long duration this order has been pending. However, because I've been a long-time customer and use their card a lot, they credited my account the exact amount I was out. So it does not come out of lawless coffers but at least I'm no longer out of the money. Now...to figure out my size in a Type II And navigate rakuten Your path wound up being better then mine. My dispute was "resolved" by them saying they couldn't investigate because it was beyond 60 days. I may take another run at it, but for anyone on the fence, I would say call your bank asap. Was it with American Express?

I've been a member since 2001 and charge a few thousand to it each month. I thought that they had a much longer window than 60 days... although the few disputes that I've had in the past have been immediately after the charges posted.

AmEx doesn't have a 60 day window. I was told that as well, but another CS rep handled it for me.

Re: amex yeah I also asked if a supervisor could help and that's the solution they came up with. It's actually probably cheaper for them than disputing a charge when you factor in manpower hours.
I to charge a healthy amount every month.

I escalated to a supervisor to get the dispute opened but apparently it didn't carry over to the processing. Fortunately, I'm not out that much. At this point, it's more about the principle and getting info to people that may have ordered more recently than me. I did find a something that appears to suggest that the timeline should be based on the delivery date: I'll call the fine folks at Amex tomorrow to see what we can do. <mods: I don't know if this discussion belongs in this thread, but I do think there is value in the content. Feel free to migrate to other threads. Not that you needed my permission.>

If you're going this route, I'd look up that post and save a screenshot of it.

I'd had no word from LD&Co/Lawless despite leaving messages and sending several emails since May so I went the charge back route and today received a refund for my November 11th 2014 order.
So Order 0951 can be removed from the list I guess if thats how it works.
I would much rather have received what I ordered and paid for but its nice to be done with this whole sorry mess after all the run around and wasted time.

He recently promised 30-45 days on this forum, which has now expired by about a week, so when calling I would say that's the promised delivery date, and you would have documentation to back it up if need be. If you're going this route, I'd look up that post and save a screenshot of it. Quick update on this. I finally got around to contacting Amex again. They do have a policy that it is 60 days from the agreed upon delivery date. Unfortunately, it is the original agreed up on delivery date. However, the rep that I spoke to seemed to be more sympathetic to the situation as I explained the details. He wasn't able to work off of RA's revised delivery dates (despite my pointing out that working in good faith with a vendor on a revised delivery rather than asking for a chargeback is better for everyone involved... generally speaking). When I happened to mention RA's promise of a refund to anyone that was unhappy with the new model, we had an "ah ha" moment. Because I had requested and not received a refund (or any response) they were willing to open a new chargeback. Unlike the previous, it has not been immediately closed due to the timeframe. I have limited hope, but feel like Amex at least made an effort. One more lever for others to consider.

So at this point there is zero way to check on an order, correct? There's rumors arguably based on facts and a few jeans seem to trickle out?
We could just email the r1885 guy end masses and ask him to ask Roman. Kidding.

Oh crap, man, that's terrible. I'd call your CC now. Screw waiting. They don't answer the phones any more.

They cannot be contacted anymore, phone is not answered and email bounces on every single mail address I acquired over the last 7 months waiting.
So don't give them any chance again, cancel the order and call your CC company now for a charge back.

Has anything arrived in the past 14 days? I believe I was the last one to receive anything. It was the last week of July.
