fellas, has anybody had any experience with this brand and does anybody know if they still exist? I read about them on denimhunter.com but it seems they have....disappeared??
They were/are two bothers who individually handmade every single pair and the quality looked pretty damn good. I saw they even did a persimmon jean...just persimmon, no indigo. It looked like the warp was dyed with persimmon and the weft was white. They looked really cool, almost Downtown Brownish.

damn...so I found three pairs in my size on eBay for 100.00 bucks a pop. One IndigoxGreen, one IndigoxPurple, and one IndigoxOrange. These all look very nice. They retailed for 375.00-400.00.
Im seriously considering picking up one pair but I can't decide which one. Any thoughts guys on which one to pick?

Do you have a fave shirt or pair of shoes/boots that would go perfectly with one of them?

That same guy has the moleskin jeans. Such a great fabric but i woud ld likely dye em if they were my sz. The biker jeans have a great color & stitch but not a fan of biker style jeans. Gool stuff though
The over dye pairs are def cool looking but dont know if that orange would turn out a bit much after some fading & washes but then again they might end up amazing

Just eyeballin' my new G&M 22oz moleskin jeans. Made in USA. These things are just on another level of quality, another global tier of craftsmanship. Most amazingly constructed jeans I've ever owned...or seen. F*cking incredible!!! Chris and Jesse Macchiaverno are just legends/HallofFamers, imo...try to throw up a few pics later today or tomorrah. 3.21am, time for the sack.

I have to say that they look EXTREMELY well made in all of the pics I've seen. well shit Highlights, I think I'm going to buy the either the green or orange weft pair then that's on Ebay. I think you just sold me. It's too bad these guys aren't in business anymore.

Thanks, unnamed! I'm VERY lucky to have scored 'em (via this thread!! - tnx to Ickes' & DirtyDenim's info - on eBay for $100, new w/ tags!!! (think they retailed for around $450). I'm over the moon about these jeans. They fit like a glove - gonna have to get 'em hemmed (there is ONE place in Sydney that can do it) & I regret this, but feel I also owe it to the jeans to try to wear 'em well/appropriately (& I just can't rock a 6 inch stack on these jeans!!!lol.
The indigos are G23. Dig 'em & they seem to have just really really gone into evo overdrive now, even since those pics 2 weeks ago. When my G-Zim18's arrive (I folded on my resolve to not back 'em, lol), I plan to wear 'em all summer (those weave/texture pics at G just wouldn't leave me alone). Gonna leave The Beast till next winter.

Well, just been speakin' w/ Mr. Chris Macchiaverno, co-founder of the legendary Guns and Money. Just purchased...2 pairs of immaculate G&M houndstooth jeans (blue, tan), 1 pair G&M Irish linen jeans (grey), 1 G&M belt, 1 G&M belt buckle!!! I am sittin' here vibrating w/ pure delight...G&M is just a satellite of love, like Jim Doors, that moved on way too soon. Cream of US MADE, cream of anything, imo. Chris has been brilliant...AGAIN - I AM STOKED. Will post pics when they arrive.

whoa whoa whoa!!! Highlights!! share the info brah!! How do I buy these??!!' Ickes, you know I will, brah!! lol...The last remaining "new with tags" stuff, possibly on the planet, from the legendary Guns & Money brand are with a seller on eBay. This stuff is haute-deeluxah...AMAZING fabrics, construction, fit etc. I think the jeans are size 32 (couple of these are SO beautiful, imo) - there are another 3 or 4 items I would love but, yeah, done this month's clothes' budget, lol. Incredible bargains - priced to sell. www.ebay.com.au/sch/unionspecialguy/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2654

I guess there's less potential for a "misunderstanding" with an actual pair of jeans, but I'd still be a little wary.

I've stated a few times that we resolved the issue amicably and fairly, and although I'm not completely convinced that the material I bought was actually Kakishibu (it would mean the DTB is Kakishibu, by the way), he's 100% genuinely certain that it is, and it's still sweet fabric. The guy is professional and fair and we are both mutually interested in doing business with each other in the future. If only he had my size..

I know that Guns and Money did a run of persimmon jeans so I would wager that the fabric you have purchased from him is indeed Kakishibu. I have seen the pics of the G and M persimmons and they do indeed resemble the Downtown Browns.

If only those G&M's he has were hugely vanity sized...
