Anyone out there have this shirt? It looks pretty sweet. I just want to know if it feels too heavy. That's a pretty hefty weight.

I have an LD 9.5oz chambray, and like Highlights commented, the heavier chambrays are great, and soften up nicely, rather quickly.

Should also be noted that the lawless chambray is something like a 6oz twill backed with a 3oz chambray. Love the shirt but it's not really representative of a typical heavy fabric.

Actually, the shirt I received from LD is a straight up chambray. Inside of the shirt, is exactly like the outside, which is what real chambray should be. I remember some receiving what you described, but it is a totally different fabric.

Just got mine in the mail and woooo buddy is this a nice shirt. Fits perfectly, nice length, feels incredibly substantial but not too scratchy or starchy or harsh. I basically love it.

Had my eyes on this one for a long time...still might pick one up. How do you feel about the collar on that shirt whiskeyriver? Does it seem a bit oversized or not? That's a "complaint" (a minor one) that has popped up here and there on the IH forum.

Now that I've worn it a few times, I'd say there seems to be too much fabric in the lower portion of the shirt. The gussets seem to be too wide, causing them to fold together and stick out on the sides. I couldn't go down a size, as the chest is perfect. Anyone have that problem with this shirt?

So I've been eyeballing this shirt for a long time and after seeing whiskeyriver create this thread and hearing his thoughts on it I decided to pull the trigger. Just received shipment of it today and man this is a great shirt. Great 10 oz Chambray fabric, great color, and of course amazing construction. This is easily an Iron Heart classic. Fit is also great...a bit roomy in the waist but its a WS so I don't mind...the fit everywhere else is perfect . Also... I ordered this from Japan off of Rakuten..it shipped Sunday and got here today. Insane.

I wa going to order one but the IH sizing had it at 17.5 inches for a large. I run about 16.5 and wear an xl.

How are you guys finding the neck size on the IH shirts? Most shirts I've hade to get an XL and the necks are like 17.5" large. I like to button up the top button and on most shirts I've got an extra 1.5" to much.

ummmm.....so how the eff do you measure a collar opening? I don't know either! I just put it on (I know I'm a 16"-16.5"). On most of the WorkShirts I'm finding the neck is freakishly big.

yeah I'm a 42 in TS shirts. I never button the top button on shirts but it's funny cause when I tried on this Iron Heart chambray today I tried to see if I could button the top button and I could and it was about perfect.

Seriously this is a great, straight up, classic heavy chambray WS and I highly recommend picking one up guys. You can get them on Rakuten so you can snag one for a great price. It's definitely a winter shirt IMO, the 10 oz is not super heavy but it's substantial.

Some say/believe (I don't though) that's the purpose of the throat latch. To give the wearer options on how to button. Making the neck opening larger or smaller depending on how/where you button.

Are there any workshirts out there that have a multiple button throat latch or where the latch closes it to a different diameter than the top button? My experience is pretty limited with workshirts and throat latches. I think it's just reinforcement for the top button, but the guys over at denim bro could probably tell you, if we were allowed over there.
