55 degrees this morning....so here are a couple shots of the 18oz. OD CPO (with slash pockets!) the color is more accurate in the closeup, not sure what was going on with the camera/lighting in the wider shot...

You mean just a pure neatsfoot oil? Or the bicks #4 conditioner? I didn’t notice the obenauf obscured the grain of the leather at all (although I do need to take a hairdryer to some of the broguing where it didn’t soak in...see photos above). Neatsfoot oil is my go-to for belts and the occasional rub on a denim patch, so I’ll pobably experiment between the two. Thanks!

It’s made from corn, so it’s “plant based”. Definitely not to be confused with a natural fiber, but some natural fibers have larger carbon footprints than synthetics. So it depends on your reasons for wanting this fabric over that, etc...

OD cpo jacket arrived. It fits like a dream and feels like armor. The OD process tightens up the denim so much it currently squeaks a bit like a new leather jacket when I bend my my elbows--fun little quirk. The pockets and the rest of the twill accents are great. Really looking forward to watching it develop. Come on fall!

Just accidentally purchased the 18oz overdye cpo. First time purchasing directly from IH, and I was trying to see if they were one of those sites that lists VAT and deducts it at checkout or whatever and clicked one to many times. Sometimes it's okay to not be too hard on yourself, tho! *rubs hands in anticipation*

I requested a proxy over their online chat and bought two pairs of Tanuki from Denimio (before they even listed a Tanuki section or any pairs on their site) and the response that "yes I can get those for you" was so quick, like seconds, that it certainly jives with a relationship. Odd they took so long to list the bifold wallets, and have yet to list the imho beautiful mid wallets. Pricey tho. Never carried a mid wallet but the blue suede lined cordovan wallet at Godspeed makes me want to.

I know a guy who makes amazing moleskine covers, let me know if you are interested im sure he could do a custom size based on your preferred writing pad. Here's a pic of a custom stained version, but natural veg tan is also available. It's all hermann oak leather if I recall correctly.

My DJA cotton shirt and Japanese double gauze from proper cloth came in perfectly cut, after a couple of washes. I was a bit worried at first but remembered they specifically mention accounting for this shrinkage and adjust the size accordingly. Couldn't be happier with this companies quality or craftsmanship. I'd certainly try ratio, but their lack of fabric options makes it far less appealing. That and I love that they are now providing good paying jobs and working conditions for people in Malaysia. In a country where most of the working conditions are terrible, it's nice to know that I'm helping in some small way to provide a safe job for these people.

After 20 weeks received my indigoxindigo cf jeans, and a little disappointed. The construction is nice and measurements are mostly where there were supposed to be (leg opening and inseam are both about and inch larger than spec, so probably will have to send to railcar to fix), but my main irk is that they have changed the design of their leather patch without notice (no longer the classier imho script patch and now blocker lettering) and it is only stitched on top and bottom as opposed to all four sides (in case you have a 3/4" belt and want to slip it underneath, I guess, because it is a very narrow patch as well). That and their cool little bonsai tree trademark that was supposed to be embroidered on the coin pocket is missing. As an owner of a bonsai tree that I grew from a seed I was really stoked about this, but I guess they don't realize that people expect what they see in the product photos.
i guess I'm stuck with them, so I'll get over it, but can't see myself ever ordering from them again. Not worth waiting 2 months longer than anticipated and receiving a product that is not the same as what you ordered. So much for this miUSA company....

I love the corridor fit and while it's not the same I think if you are large in corridor you would fit a large in ts. When in doubt, check the size chart.

Got my three $5 tees today. One black, one medium grey, and then one that is sort of off-white/purplish tint with black stripes. Standard cotton tees.

Just picked up the natural indigo s/s work shirt. Very nice construction and great fit and look over a black merino tee. The pictures on RTs site are pretty accurate.

I've never bought a thing from them, but signed up for the newsletter for the discount code, and I got the survey. Seems odd they would exclude possible participants from a survey based on what and when they bought unless it was to favor people who have spent more. But you would think they would even still send the survey out to everyone and then sift the data however they like. Sounds like a poorly run marketing department.

Billy Kirk online sample sale going on now. Just stumbled across it so could be old news, but some nice belts still left for steep discounts, and I'm on a denim no-spend, so I guess it's leather...http://billy-kirk.theshoppad.com/#/home

anyone even considering taking a plunge on their easter weekend mystery sales? I took a look but the price of the "mystery shirt" was more than some of the sale shirts that I would absolutely never wear, same for their "mystery weird guys". my luck I would get a cheetah print shirt and a pair of cookies and cream denim... would rather pay for a gustin denim grab bag and get the pink powerpuff denim....

Whoa. Well maybe some are? I have an email from them last week saying the Thomas mason i ordered would be miUSA..... I'm not super particular as long as makers are paid a good wage, but would be super disappointed if I was misled....

Just bought a shirt from proper cloth in a Thomas Mason oxford for my upcoming wedding. We will see, but with the fit fully customized the total was not much more than a Gustin or TS "sort-of custom", and they have tons of fabrics. And (Bentin drum roll) all made in the USA (although cloth sourced from Italy, Portugal, Japan). In any case, wedding is a far ways off and your first shirt can be sent back and altered if it doesn't fit right, so I say it's worth a shot. Anyone else have experience with this company?

Ok so have to eat my words...after slighting the red cast i purchased the idt1s, and loving the fit so much had denimio proxy me a pair of the rct1s. They have arrived and fit is amazing as well, I know there is perhaps still a lot of distaste for this new brand, but each and every stitch looks just right (even though there are multiple colors). The denim is less irregular than the ID, but certainly still rough in texture and fun little neps. I'm thinking about trying their regular straight fit in the natural indigo, but the tapered fits so well I don't know. Also eyeing their wallets, but they seem a bit bulkier than what I am used to. (Also have only seen them at Godspeedstore in aus, and haven't yet inquired what a denimio proxy price would be, if it is available at all)
