Maybe this isn't the best place to discuss, but would there be any interest in a thread about height/weight/sizes in various brands as a reference point for members looking to get into something new?

Seriously, tone down the (relatively) acute angles of the front yokes (probably the back, too, knowing them), shrink pockets 5-10%, have the workshirt shop sew them up with triple-needle construction and workshirt gussets, and you have a winner!

Argh, glad I didn't take a flyer on the XL from RB--XXL looks almost perfect. Now a few moments of agony while I hope someone snags the last one on IHUK so I can stop thinking about dropping another $305...

Boat shoes don't look bad (aside from that sloppy-ass lace-tying job), but just snagged some NIB OSB beefrolls in natty CXL off eBay (for less than G's) that are getting delivered today--sorry Lord Gustin, day late, dollar short.

Jealous..apparently people in my size are ecstatic about their purchases and refuse to put them up on any BSTs..and buy out all the Rakuten stock. Or maybe their weight fluctuations aren't as dramatic as those of some of us bigger guys ;p.

Best part is they took a best offer of $150, but I'd have paid the $200 asking. And there is literally no sign of wear and it still feels like it has some starch/sizing in it. Can't wait to see how soft it gets someday when I get around to soaking it. great score, brother. That shirt is dope. Ebay and the 2x forums sale threads are going to become my new haunting ground. XXL and XL will notify ickesThanks! Yeah, I've been combing it a couple times a week for XX/XXX and 34-38. Really would like a pair of 555-03s, and will bite the IHUK bullet toward the end of the summer if nothing like that pops in a 34 or 36.

Ha! That's just stupid. Always been more of a buyer than a seller, mostly because of the hassle of shipping, but that would get old fast.

IHSH-80 XXL in apparently unworn condition via eBay. So soft, and love the diamond snaps. Can't wait to see the indigo-dyed evo.

Definitely used the coupon--wish I had waited a week--dropped about $700 on stuff (526j, 816, ihsh-13 in blue and black, and ihsh-07) last week, too. But felt like it was time, since apparently IHUK is shutting down Rakuten orders.

Just scored a barely-worn IHSH-80 XXX in red off eBay for $150--anyone have one of these? How lightweight is it, if so?

Also, two things: who's buying canvas shoes for $125?! Especially canvas shoes that look like THAT? Additionally, who really wants 3 oz. shirting fabric? To be fair, the canvas shoes have an Italian Full Grain Leather Upper, so... (JFC, how hard is it to edit the copy ever so slightly after a cut-and-paste job?)

Is "hickory shits" akin to black lung, but for furniture makers? I was thinking BBQ enthusiasts...

I echo what everyone else has said about the XHS. Unless you are a masochist with hips and cojones of steel, size up rather than down. They get super comfy after a couple weeks, but the first several days you will have bruises.

Japan One Sevens are great. Hand, color, weave, and weight are similar to the Zloomies, with the obvious advantage of minimal shrink and ability to size correctly. Honestly, if someone told me they were the same denim (with different ID), but the J17 was the final product, I wouldn't be surprised. For the price, it's one of the best pair I own.
I went up a size to XXL with the first henley I ordered, based on advice from Ren--I swim in it a little; the second I got in XL, my normal size, and it fits great. I would not recommend sizing up from your G tshirt size, unless you like them baggy.

I've been going back and forth between 555-03 and one of the overdyed pairs for a couple months. Still no decision...

The pockets don't justify the markup for me. If they had the entire shirt redone with no skew, I'd have considered dropping the IHUK price for them. If I want these, I'll take the Rakuten price. While I agree, there were no XXL on rakuten. So I bit the bullet. Again, ouch. WRT the skew--it's a casual shirt and the fit pics I've seen didn't put me off of it.

On me, CF 901 is right between G straight and G slim. Is the front rise actually as low as the size chart indicates? Or, what did it measure, if you don't mind checking. I can check tonight. Doesn't feel particularly low. Just about right. I'm 6'4" and got a 36/36 because I like stacks.
