It's the coal, I bought one from the actual campaign and it's definitely strangely blue for a black and looks exactly like your pics. It's way too blue. Would like it a lot more if it were less so.

I got the same shirt. I think you're right about it being the blue twill. This is my first G shirt. Pretty nice quality and the fit is amazing. This shirt is just kind of boring. I may sell it to fund that red/black gingham. I will 100% guarantee you that is not the #113 Japan Slate Blue Twill. Maybe not, but mine looks way more blue than that grey chambray.

It is a very blue charcoal. Definitely not indigo, you can tell it is gray, but it has major darker blue tints to it.
I'll take a side by side of mine tonight with a denim shirt to compare.

I got my shirt grab bag today but I'm not sure what it is I received. The closest I can find on the Gustin site is the #113 Japan Slate Blue Twill (https://www.weargustin.com/store/1210) but the weft on the shirt I received doesn't look like what I have with this shirt. Here's a couple pics of what I got. Any ideas what this is? I got the same shirt. I think you're right about it being the blue twill. This is my first G shirt. Pretty nice quality and the fit is amazing. This shirt is just kind of boring. I may sell it to fund that red/black gingham.

That is a really great shirt. Pictures don't do it justice. The pictures truly don't do it justice. Can be dressed up or down. Thick but not too stiff. The fabric has such an interesting texture up close.

Very nice indeed and a great fit. How did you get such a bargain? Found a guy on the IH forums who bought a large and medium. He needed to sell the Medium and was thinking $175 shipped. We happened to live in the same town so he said he would give it to me for $150. I told him I could get one on Rakuten for about $135 shipped (true) but I'd rather buy locally. He was happy to take a small hit to help me out and get rid of his too small shirt.

Picked up that IHSH-07 today. Crisp, stiff, and in mint condition with tags. Really love this shirt. Fit is perfect. Also love the orange stitching: This is easily one of my favorite shirts and I picked it up for less than half retail. Today was a good day for my closet.

I just got the Super Heavy Slubs yesterday that I backed back in November. Yes you read that right, November. I have a theory. It's total conjecture, but with the strange updates some of us saw that said "jeans in finishing" followed by "jeans complete, queued for shipping" and "apparently some jeans didn't get shipped out, will be shipping into early March" over the entire course of late January and February, I feel like a whole batch of denim was botched, and they had to order some extra units of fabric to cover themselves. Now that those have shipped, they're running new campaigns to use up the rest of the fabric and cut their losses. That being said, I really effing love these super heavy slubs so far. They're not uncomfortable or unforgiving in any way and have a really interesting texture to them. This is 100% what happened

I got a shipping notice!!!!!!!! For my stock store shirt I ordered on Saturday... I'm pretty sure I could send a handwritten letter to Japan via snail mail placing an order for a pair of Iron Hearts from Rodeo Bros, with a check enclosed for payment, and get those jeans faster than my J17's. The J17's are to be renamed the 3-Season Jeans, as their production covered three seasons, and they might just be delivered in time for the one season they are unwearable. Awesome. Tried contacting them lately? My sympathy for their factory troubles is running out. I'd have more if they honestly told me a month ago: "we f!@ked your jeans up, it's going to be another 6-8 weeks" instead of pretending any day now.

Asked Ciano for a fabric swatch to compare two colors on this coat. Got them in the mail today and plan to order tomorrow! Really excited for this coat and even more excited by the great customer service I have received. They've been awesome about every question I've asked every step of the way.

Found an IHSH-07 here in Portland brand new tried on once. Meeting the guy tomorrow to buy it for $130. Super excited. I had to be the first to ask. At Starbucks? It is in an inside on I think that started on the Gustin Board. Great price. Hope it fits. Haha. It will fit. Iron heart mediums are fantastic for me. And we are meeting at a local bar actually.

Where? I can't find them on a search. Also--I'm pretty bummed. I got the boots I ordered for my girlfriend today and they are way too small. The person who listed them listed them as Women's Size 8.5 Red Wing Iron Rangers. They were listed in the women's shoe section. Earlier that day, we had tried on a pair of 8.5 WOMEN's IRs at a Women's shoe store. They were tagged 8.5. They fit great. Today, the boots we received were marked a size 5, and actually Men's shoes. Needless to say, they were about a full size too small. Not only that, but they are scuffed and have a few small, black, spots on the toe and a place where the sole has a defect where it meets the leather. They were listed as new on EBay. The seller is claiming that Red Wing doesn't make Women's shoes (don't know if this is true or not) and that a men's size 5 is equivalent to a Women's 8.5. The problem with this is that that's just not true. That sizing is off. Also, Red Wings run a full size big, so a women's 8.5 is a 7.5 in Red Wings. I feel like she misrepresented the shoes as being Women's 8.5 when they were actually a Men's 5. This was not noted in the listing, and the shoes were listed in Women's shoes. Beyond that, her attempt at converting the shoe size was wrong, and she was misleading about the condition of the shoes. I asked for a refund and even offered to pay for return shipping to her. She responded by calling me ignorant, a liar, and refusing my request. I've filed a claim with Paypal, but I'm worried I'll get screwed over here. Girl is bummed out too as she was looking forward to these. Hopefully Paypal gives me my money back and I can return the item. If not, does anyone want to buy a pair of 8111's in fairly good condition in Men's size 5 (women's size 7.5-8?). I don't know if they make women's boots, but I know they at least have unisex styles. But I'm pretty sure you should be able to get a refund if you file a grievance with eBay. And I think women's sizes are 1.5 higher than men's sizes. Unless you're taking know account the size a full size down with Red Wings. We didn't complete the transaction via E-bay, just via paypal. She was asking $250 for them and I offered 180, she countered with $200 by sending me an invoice for payment on Paypal. Paypal buyer protection should cover me the same as Ebay though. I had her reference the size and Ebay auction # in the invoice. And yeah I agree, a size 6.5 or 7 should in Men's should equate to an 8.5 in Women's.

Pair of iron rangers 8111 in size 8.5 EE on eBay. Very good shape used. Cheap price. Where? I can't find them on a search. Also--I'm pretty bummed. When did you back? I.e. what % were they at? I too backed them last Fall, on the 25th of November, which was the day the campaign started. I have a good feeling about this week!

As the season transitions to Spring for most, the J17's lie dormant in a winter of discontent. Yeah, I'm waiting too. I check order status every day. When did you back? I.e. what % were they at?

I wouldn't think so benjaminpersitz, I would go by the IH UK fit guide. I ordered my Super Heavy Flannel from SelfEdge and their fit chart was quite a bit different from IH UK. When I received the shirt I measured it and it was spot on to the IH UK fit guide so I would trust that one. Cool. I'm gonna pop by Self Edge this weekend actually. Try on some shirts and the 301s again.

Cool. I'm stoked to order this shirt. Last question about the sizing, do direct from Japan sizes run smaller? The confusing RB fit chart seems way small.

Does anyone have any Iron Heart shirting experience? I'm a 40 in TS glacier twill and a 36 or 38 in their oxfords. Tight small in G classic or a slightly baggy medium. Iron Heart's medium seems like it would be too big in the chest, but too small in the shoulders. Also, when ordering from Rakuten, do you have to size up? The size charts seem smaller than on the Iron Heart UK site. I do yes, but they release a different size chart for every shirt made so you won't necessarily always be the same size. I think for the most part they keep it pretty consistent but I know by reading on the forums that sometimes guys will be an XL in one shirt but L in another. I only own one IH shirt so far. I am an XL classic in Gustin, a 42 in Taylor Stitch, and my Iron Heart 2014 Super Heavy Flannel is an XXL and it fits after hot washing and drying. Next time around I am going to try an XL and cold wash and hang dry. Thanks. I am looking at the IHSH-07. Rodeo Bros has it for $126 on Rakuten.
