Maybe we can revoke Sailor Twitch's passport next time he's in Portugal and get this train back on the rails?
Anyone a horribly unqualified billionaire?

Just retaped my 29er wheels and got them beaded up solid with hooptie tires and a large amount of Stans. Hoping to get a little dirt this weekend.

Haha, same, starting to amass build components for an overblown Evil bike. Also starting to eyebal watches again. Somehow avoiding the new car bug though, nice that fewer and fewer cars are available with a manual transmission, keeps me from wanting much.

It is hard to ignore the good deals on MiC stuff, but practice certainly helps.

Nice variety. Just need some black shells. Thanks, Bentin. Tripple textured black Tricker's brogue Stow boots arrive Fri, but I'm willing to be entertained... Which ones are on your short list? Alden makes shell look like a plastic bag, so they're right out. Rancourt actually does a good job, or I might just cheat and get the Truman kudu in black. I already have a pair of black Wolverines that are nice and broken in though.

Who funds the Hydes? Horrible. I assume there's a weird subset on Style Forum that must love those turds. No pocket, no go. Man, putting a pocket on there might be the only way to make it worse. French placket and a pocket, yikes. PJ's:

Won't Ciano do them for "free?" Guaranteed back by 2018! Of the Islamic calendar!

First, congrats on the weight loss. Second, that's a pretty big adjustment. The easy answer is that anything under an inch is a pretty easy change. More generally gets tricky due to needing to retaper the leg, consider pocket placement, etc. It can't hurt to ask, if you have an experienced tailor, they should give you an honest answer up front. Start with your least favorite pair.

Remember that it's the midnight there right now, so you likely won't hear anything for seven or so hours. It's okay, they're always super quick and ship very close to when you respond to their shipping quote. Shipping usually works out to be a few dollars less than their listed price with VAT.

Hey northcoast on that Tricker's Outlet website do you know if they take out the 20% VAT? In there policy section it reads something like: "we refund VAT were appropriate 4 or 5 days later" Just didn't know if you had any first second or Redditt hand experience with that? Not to generalize, but everyone but one vendor refunds VAT. So says the international finance guy slightly familiar with this sort of thing.

Yeah, I abused my first pair of Gustins, which I got in a straight fit, with hot washes and dries to try to slim them down. Knocked nearly two inches out of the inseam.
Beware that a few Japanese brands unsanforized denims can end up under 33" after a hit soak.

Ageeed. My hemmed jeans all have different inseams anyway. Both because of different fits and because everything shrinks a little in inseam with washes.

STF is Shrink to Fit, aka Unsanforized.

Dat rise though. This is why I'm looking at Momotaro, Tanuki and some of the new Oni cuts. I know, the rise irks me, since you mentioned Tanuki. Currently on Reddit there's a giver away for a pair of there slims in a size 36. 15oz double indigo unsanforized: https://www.reddit.com/r/rawdenim/comments/5wntw9/free_tanuki_giveaway/ Hopefully I'll win. If not then I'll have to shell out 285 for a pair Fromm Blue owl. You might check with Denimio if they'll proxy them.

I live in Texas and have 11oz RgT and 22oz Oni. I also have a pair of olive 20oz Oni and 20oz Ciano in rotation. Curious about the upcoming 12oz Oni or the 14oz OD Iron Hearts if they come in Self Edge's 633 cut.
The Momo blue wefts are 13oz, and Oni has both a 14oz and 17oz indigo x indigo that should wear pretty lightly due to the loose weave.

Next you'll learn that you can only wear so many jeans and it takes a year to eighteen months of pretty consistent wear to really break in a pair.
I think we all start with hoarding and then start to cull back. I have a summer pair and a winter pair of indigo with contrast stitching in rotation. Everything else is non traditional. I may add one more pair of "tweeners" for good measure.
