Man, good ol' Gustin. I ordered the Antique Chambray. It came in this week, and actually fits great, is sewn well and has only a few trivial issues, which is to say it's much better than expected. But I had a nagging feeling something wasn't quite like I remembered. The material is totally different. Can't figure out pics on here, but what they delivered is similar, but very much not the same as what was in the campaign. What I got has only gold vertical stripes, no alternating white ones and the horizontal stripes are much thicker and darker than what was shown. Oh well, I like it well enough, but I should have listened to my own rule about Gustin, anything as long as it's not a pattern. I’m impressed how attentive you are to notice that fabric difference! I checked both of my shirts & yes you are correct! Yes, I have two of these shirts. The first one had the pockets about 1-2” uneven, the replacement about 0.5” uneven but that’s the best I’m going to get. I like the shirt. Seems like the newer sizing works better for me. Just wish it matched the product pics.

Selling the Wagonner, just don't use it as much as it should be. Going to buy a Fiat 124 Spyder. Small little convertible to run around in with the wife Not sure if you care, but there are some nice tunes for those. Stock the Miata seems like a better deal, but tuned, the Fiat gets much better. shopeurocompulsion.net/products/euro-drive-tuning-system-fiat-124-spider-abarthWaiting to throw a new clutch in my GTI before taking it from the stock 225hp to something more like 330.

If it were still selvedge it would be a half price Rogue Territory ISC that probably wouldn't fade. I detect some hostility toward Gustin? Have you moved to the dark side? Ha, more Cone. I did order the recent Chambray. I still like the LA guys, RgT and Railcar, with some 3Sixteen thrown in. I rarely wear my Oni, the cuts are just weird for me. I've actually been wearing my Gustin Italian BxB a lot recently, they've got some decent fades and are soft as hell.

Interesting that the Cone Mills Food Tray shirt is back, but this time is NOT selvedge!! Last time it was a selvedge fabric with red & white selvedge ID (I found the 2015 email). If it were still selvedge it would be a half price Rogue Territory ISC that probably wouldn't fade.

The blue thread bothers me for some reason. I got a Railcar Felon 003 for similar money off of Grailed. I'd highly recommend that for an awesome textured chambray.

Man, I forgot how painful their moving close dates are. Funded the chambray with four hours left and now, four days later there are three days left. F'ing Gustin Math. Three days later and now six days remaining. Make my shirt already.

Three new workshirt drops today!! And three new fabrics!!!! I backed the Antique Chambray which looks incredible. I can’t believe it’s taken them so long to drop some new fabric. Dammit, that's pretty cool. So is the Cone IxB. I still hate their sizing.

Time does fly (I'm turning 50! Saturday). Still come here looking for a good discussion/argument on stuff. Oddly I was thinking about Lawless Denim lol (did anyone get a refund?) Just bought a few pairs of Gustin jeans. Still my best fitting and I bought them in a size 37! Good times! Happy birthday, old man!

I actually like the length, at 6'2" a L is about perfect. I do get a little shrinkage, L starts out a little baggy but pulls in just about perfectly after a wash and dry.

Well yes. With CF you have to be patient.
I've been wearing it around the house to break it in. Have not soaked it yet.
Do they have the same wait time on their T shirts? The website says 1-2 weeks but I'm not sure I trust how accurate that is. He's usually really quick with the t's, but I did wait three or four weeks for one order and the above delay makes me think you might have a longer wait right now. They're nice shirts though. The crew necks are tubular, which I greatly prefer.

I spoke with the owner for about 30 minutes on the phone and provided product feedback. I like their shirts, I'd like more casual fabrics. If Dave runs out of codes, I have 3 as well which I can share. I agree with this. A softer two pocket design, Western yokes and easier to select non fused collars and cuffs would be nice.

Any better denim then the okayama's? Looking for another pair jeans. My 35 straights are yours for $20. About a year of wear. Little bit of wallet and phone fades, but nothing crazy. Just wildly dislike the fit. Like the denim, have debated a pair in slim but don't really like that fit either and I've become a bit of a snob about hidden rivets and goofball pocket bags, etc.

I think it depends on how much you want it to shrink. Cold rinse and hang dry, not much, if at all. I needed about a full size of shrink in my Wabi Sabi and got it with an hour long hot machine wash and dry in a medium heat dryer. I have since only done cold washes and hang dry and it's stayed the same size.

The Epaulet / Aero was close, but still had zippered cuffs and a moto collar. You'd probably have to go full custom with Aero to get what you seek.

Funny, I've been looking for wool pants. TS is clearly convinced they're doing the right thing. Unfortunately I'm just as convinced they're doing absolutely the wrong thing. I've bought stuff from American Trench, Stock Mfg, Product of Bob Scales and Railcar in the last few months that I would have likely got from TS if they hadn't taken their Americana to China. I saw a pic of one of their future drops, it looks great, is made in California too, but I'll never buy it because of their overall practice. Wouldn't buying The Made In California products make a point? and boycott the MiC stuff. That way they have hard facts and data to see what direction the customers want to go. (Think I asked this before) If they're really tracking individual purchases. I see it as giving money to a company that was 80ish percent MiUSA and 20% Spain/Portugal and is now 90% China, 8% Spain's/Portugal and 2% US. Same thing as Filson a decade ago. They (Filson) seem to be bringing more stuff back here, but I'm still not supooorting them either.

Yeah, may have to grab those. The fit is also the only PBJ one that works for me.

Yeah, the Vans soles are great for me, but I really need a mid or high for mountain biking and just revert to Five10's which are too ugly for non bike duty. These just look stupid. I've also determined that non Pro Vans are like non 70's Chucks and best avoided. I give in on some Vaults, but still find that my Pros are both more comfortable and hold up better.

I was super excited about the idea, but it's just a weird size. Painfully long overall (won't fit in my garage) and still has a short bed that my bikes wouldn't fit in without either going front wheel over the tailgate or dropping the tailgate. I'm kicking around the idea of trying to make a two door JL work, but until we know where we're living, I'll probably hold off on adding another car with limited versatility. I'm going to the New England Auto show tomorrow so I'll see it there It's a truck so it has the truck length. It has a shorter wheel base and is shorter in length then a Tacoma. Yeah, was just hoping for the 4 door JL with a bed, not the burlier thing it ended up being. Still sort of hoping the Bronco or Bronco Lite might fit my needs.

Absolutely. I like my Rancourts, just wear the sneakers less than any of my other Rancourts dress shoes or boots.
