Well, not quite as well as the Essex, hehe.
And I've been switching back and forth between high and low 70's as our weather vacillates and an surprised how much easier the highs are to take on and pull off than the lows. Also easier to lace to where they won't need to be retightened later.
I'm split about 50/50 between highs and lows but will likely replace my lows with the wildly more comfy Vans Pros slip ons and Chimas as they wear out and keep the highs. Not a fan of Vans highs, but may need to try the Mids.

bentin which Rancourts do you have? These, which actually look nearly identical to the Natiral Chromexcel's after a few dozen wears.

I have a pair of the Rancourts. They're okay, and comfortable, but kind of caught between Vans/Chucks and Oxfords/Wingtips in that awkward no mans land.

Docs are about as close as I've ever come to wearing all black. Wearing green and blue Vans now. Screw a buncha dressing like my age.

Are you talking all black sneakers? All black everything? All black sneakers. So far it's been all boots and Chucks. So I bought a pair of all white sneakers (Greats). But they seem odd to me come evening/nite out. So I'm thinking an all black pair might be more fitting I respect your experimentation at the top. Screw you Vans and Converse, imma buy the real shizz. This is like trying to determine if you like green shirts by starting with an Iron Heart. Do I like Engineer Boots? Let me buy some Role Clubs to check. Can I drive manual? Ferris Bueller looked good in a Ferrari 250GT, let me check eBay for one.

Decided to buy a pair of Koio Neros. Now ickes has to show me how to wear black sneakers. Are you talking all black sneakers? All black everything? Neros are all black all the time. You know, like a nurse, or a little old lady.

I just equate all black sneakers to people whose jobs require them to make that bad decision. But you be you, with your ugly shoes.

You're on your own on all black sneakers. Are you a nurse? I have nipples...

They're interesting, but at that price, I'd just go with RgT or Railcar.
Wait, not even selvedge? 420 hit early in the Bay Area.

Sorry Guys, had to back Chukka Loden Suede At $200 it's a good deal. Made in Mexico, so I know they'll be made right I like those. Seem better done than the Thursdays, which I think are also made in Mexico. I just can't get behind the brand.

Man, at half price they're only comically overpriced, instead of insultingly overpriced.

The two new shirts they are offering are made in USA! They look pretty good too. A selvedge chambray and brushed charcoal jack. They probably just found a box of MiCalifornia tags and needed to get rid of them.

Unless you plan on doing a little space walking, I'd prefer the sapphire too. Well done.

Noticed TS stopped their normal made in Spain 100% cotton chinos for some 98/2 spandex blend made in China. Anyone try these new chinos out? Or have a replacement for solid chinos? Epaulet, Bravestar, Railcar and Rogue Territory Left Field all work well for MiUSA. Apolis and Best Made are good for Made somewhere other than China.

I like the Super Ocean. Breitling to me just seems like a little nicer brand than Oris. Yes but there would be room to buy another watch if I went with the Oris. That and I think the repair and maintenance on the Oris is easier, able to be done locally. But the Bretling is the better of the two The maintenance thing isn't a big issue. My Sinn can either go to Germany or to Roland G Murphy in PA. It's within about $10 total round trip when I've compared the two. Remember to compare used prices too. If one loses more value, keep that in mind for long term valuation too. One final note, consider if one is too flashy. My dad gave me a gold Rolex, but there were so few times I felt comfortable wearing it that I eventually sold it (when gold was stupidly high.)

In all seriousness, our current administration has actually caused me to direct more of my money to Mexican and Latin American made goods. I'm still eying a pair of Railcars and will likely buy another pair of Epaulet chinos because of the $10 donation to HIAS (hias10 code), and I've sadly been mildly spiteful to owners of US brands who have spoken out for this guy. Nothing untoward, just taking my money elsewhere, and part of that has been relaxing my MiUSA focus.

One of the perks of being single...and when I do have a gf and she wants to do laundry I'm always micromanaging the shit out of that task. Yep. Nobody touches my stuff but me. If anything gets ruined then I have no one to blame but myself. Yeah, I cussed her for killing my shirt last night. Fat lot of f'ing good that did me. Should have just ordered another shirt, a laundry hamper and shut up.

Another option would be to size up to an xl and hot wash the crap out of it. Man, this is my wife's specialty. One of my recent purchases from Stock Mfg went from fitting perfectly to looking like my kid's shirt. I think it's finally time to buy my own clothes hamper and just do my own laundry.
