To take this a different way, those angle pockets aren't nearly as distracting as I thought they would be, I like the way it all works together with the white stitching. If this one comes in fitting well, I'm really excited for the wabisabi. If it doesn't I'm going to spend the next month and a half sad knowing I have another shirt coming that will fit the same way. Still not a fan of those slanted pockets at all, I think they cheapen the look of the shirt & remind me of cheap flannel shirts from K Mart. With straight pockets, Gustin could have offered a beautiful, simple, elegant workshirt. I regret ordering the JHS purely because of the pockets.

I think the wool ws might be the one to win me over.
Couple questions though, if the workshirts are being sewn up by a different shop, does that mean that they'll come in to spec? If that's the case, then I can with confidence order a medium and have room for a layer underneath. But if they come in like the regular shirts, there won't be much room for layering.
Secondly, how much shrink are you guys expecting?

I don't think there's enough WS's out yet to get an over all opinion on how there sewing up.

Secondly, how much shrink are you guys expecting? i would advice to wait for more feedback. Shirt is all about fit. I still remember there was a person on Gustin forum who wore a $40 Amercian Eagle shirt and it looks better than 90% of the Gustin fit pictures that I saw. Frankly, I hope I don't need to pay $280 to learn my lesson of being stupid to buy the two Gustin workshirts. Fingers crossed.

I buy what looks good on me, not what is made really well or is a bargain or is the hottest item. I have a AE striped shirt I love wearing untucked because it fits spot on & it somehow makes my 230lb body look great

The way I judge myself being stupid or not is if I walk into the store today, will I buy the Gustin work shirts if they are on the shelf. Base on the early pictures, there is no way I will buy them because of the fit. I am holding my breath right now and hoping for the best.

This great mall (Roosevelt Field) close to me will have a Uniqlo store opening any day now so that might change

I work in very close conjuction with the military and I'm expected to get down and dirty and work long hours in austere locations just the same as they do many times. Uniqlo shirts look decent, have decent construction and because they are only about $12 here in Japan, I don't care if i fcuk them up. They are my OCBD version of a Hanes t-shirt 5 pack lol

I'm loving it!!! The lines are more random then thought. Also more fuller (not sure if that makes sense, more of them)
