I like the green weft, and think these will make for a nice shirt, but am in the boat of owning a few like shirts, covering the weight spectrum, and different shades of indigo, so these will be a pass. At least these are a bit different.

The yellow, green & royal blue weft workshirts have been pulled, leaving only the rust weft at 81% .

Gustin really need to solve their supply chain problems, if that is the cause of so few workshirts being released. They can drop jeans, shirts, shoes & underwear all the time, but a workshirt only appears once every couple of months, with a banal fabric. Check out Left Field's new nep selvedge workshirts ( link, link) for examples of fabric that Gustin should have released.

Check out Left Field's new nep selvedge workshirts ( link, link) for examples of fabric that Gustin should have released. They don't release workshirts because they "can't sell them". If they started dropping some of their frequent (non-indigo) denim or heavier twills in the western shirt, or started aligning patterns on non-button down collars I'd start getting excited again. As it is now, I have a few things "wishlisted" but they're just missing the mark with me these days. Hell, an American Sixteener (or heavy black x coal) western or type III/new trucker would likely push me into another order. Still thinking about the taupe trucker, too, but will likely end up passing on it. I think this is a problem with their model. People have always said "oh, if only that fabric were being sewn into X, I would totally buy it". Now that they have so many more products, it makes it even easier to second guess their judgment on what fabric should become what product.

Does anyone have any pictures of theirs shirts after fading/wear? I've bought mostly the stuff that doesn't show wear, and haven't worn my Wabisabi since it got cold in the fall. It's looking like snow again on Saturday and Sunday, but I'll break it out again and see if I can't start putting some fades on it. I think *think* @untucked has an IxI that he's beaten up quite a bit (though I may be confusing it with a <redacted brand name> shirt), we might be able to convince him to take a current picture of it if I'm remembering right.

Sure, I wouldn't consider those "banal" but I wouldn't buy anything that looked like that either.

What Gustin aren't doing is experimenting with what fabrics will & won't sell well. They asked customers for suggestions on what we'd like to see but haven't followed through, but continue to churn out hundreds of plaid shirts that can be found everywhere else. Edit: I don't have a strong view on G's western shirts as I don't wear them & probably needs its own thread.

Aaaaaaaand, I spoke too soon! Lol! Button broke. Sucks. This highlights one of my initial complaints about the workshirts, that a shirt which costs this much should come with spare buttons

Sadly, you could hang around the site and not see any worthy work shirts show up. But maybe they'll see your post and rethink their strategy.

It's no biggie for me... I never use that button anyway, because I keep my cardholder in that particular chest pocket. But, I assume most guys who spend +$100 on a shirt wants at least 1 extra button.
*Side note: my one IH workshirt doesn't have a spare button either.....

BxB: It's about time for another wash and I need to replace 3 more buttons. I also have the IxI and Cone 101 but they don't have anywhere near the wear of this one. Looks GREAT!
