Btw why is Pam fat again? I guess when she stopped doing coke she got fat fast because of all the cakeeating, but did we get to see this or did it just happen? Have you been watching the new season? I think in the second episode she gets fat again. But I think this gif is prior to the coke binge. I have seen 1 episode of season 6 and she was fat again. (gonna watch 2 and 3 tonight). It makes sense, but I just wondered if I missed something. Cant have that. The show caught me comletely by surprise by its briliance, but it takes a while to get it, and also fall in love with the characters. It has been a little up and down tho, but its always fun.

I dont get it, it should be able to handle being washed....no? Seriously, it's a workshirt. Why is it delicate? Shouldn't you be able to beat the s!#t out of it, wash it, dry it, and have it come out ready for more punishment?

Yep, she makes a comment about it in Malory's office (after the coke I gained it all back), but that's it. That GIF was from when she applied to become an agent (Season 4?)

Also, I hung dry. No dryer. I need the shirt to shrink, so I don't wear the shirt like a dress. I did not put it in the washer this time and tried my best to not ruined the shirt. However, the dryer killed it. I am going to borrow my wife's shaver to clean this POS up. It also came out worst than my Hickory Stripe on fit and NOT HAPPY will be an understatement.

So, this site has now reached epic status. Dudes discussing Archer gifs and the current season while another guy murders a shirt in the background in a scene that likely looks like a fabric based outtake from Silence of the Lambs.
"It shrinks to the size I want or else it gets the dryer again"
@wils, I really, really like you man. However, I'm worried that someone from Denim Protective Services (DPS) is going to show up at your door and take your Wabi Sabi into protective custody. If/when they arrive, be sure you have a shirt on. Every time a government agency shows up at a residence there is always some drunk guy without a shirt on yelling at the front door and it gets caught on film. Watch a few old episodes of Cops and you'll see what I mean. Don't be that guy, @wils, you'll end up on TV and spend the rest of your life explaining that one incident....

Steve, it is lucky we still have vendor like you that doesn't screw the customers. You take pride of what you make and don't put out bad products, especially customers bought it unseen with just faith with the vendor. Btw, there is a Wabisabi Workshirt on Styleforum's BST. (Not mine)

Shouldn't you be able to beat the s!#t out of it, wash it, dry it, and have it come out ready for more punishment? Yea, a little confusing to me also. I wear my raw denim shirts hard, and after washing, thrown them on occasion into the dryer, with no harm done. I would expect to get shrinkage with Hickory stripe, as its the nature of the beast there, but the others should be fine from my experience. Even the finest of wool products will pill over time, depending on wear, treatment, washing techniques, etc, but I can say I've never have experienced denim pilling, so to speak.

I am too sick (cold) and depress to talk about Wabisabi shirt. I am going to take it to tailor to get it all tidy up before I give a review. Store your popcorn and it will probably take two weeks. The fit is worst than my Hickory Strip and the back is almost 2" longer than the front. The waist is also wide and will need to take off about 3 inches of fabric at the back. Going to set me back about $40-50 from my tailor this time. Going to shift my focus to the shirt I like..... Lawless Western Shirt.... yeah on that. Totally loving it. Will post pictures when I feel better.

I dont get it, it should be able to handle being washed....no? hand wash and hang dry. The dryer has killed the shirt. The wabasabi fabric is pilling. Is it Pilling or Puckering? Washed mine (no detergent) and put it in the dryer. No pilling with mine but it did Pucker (same as the Postal HBone and my Gray HBone jeans). All of them smoothed out after some wear.

I am sure it is pilling and just used my wife's shaver on it. what is puckering? All I did was hot soak it in plain water and changed water 4 times for about an hour. I then put it in the dryer for an hour with my Hickory Stripe work shirt to try to get the maximum shrinkage. I was worrying to dry it by itself will be too harsh to the fabric. I cannot mix it with something else because it was leaking indigo big time.

Love most of the fits here and check out the shirt fit, especially the length and width. My tailor will try to fix Wabisabi work shirt. It is not a fabric that I want to waste. Someone in Japan will be totally piss and it will be a shame. m.imgur.com/a/JlwDjBtw, need to stop listening to people here about buying more jeans. I need to focus on the fade.

To make it clear for all readers of this you are trying to make a shirt fit that was not the correct measurements for the owner and this is basically an experiment that could have bad results. Just wanting to make that clear as bad results could happen to any brands fabric if the fabric is washed/dried improperly. I believe what DigDug is referring to with puckering is the fabric bunching up, not laying flat, wrinkles etc. This would be caused by the hot wash and also the hot dry as the fabric is shrinking. To be fair any shirt of this type would shrink under these conditions and cause this to happen. Much of it would probably relax with wear. As far as the pilling, some close up pictures would help everyone to understand what is going on. Most shirts of this type of fabric, including denim recommend a gentle machine or hand washing with shirt inside out, this would help the pilling, and drying on low or hang dry. Just wanted to post this disclaimer to keep everyone from getting too riled up.

Normally i wouldnt chime in but I've noticed small tufts of fibers coming loose daily on my wabisabi? Has anyone else had the same experience? FYI mine hasn't been washed.
