The Gustin oxfords are the only shirt I've ever worn that feel too long and too short all at the same time (though I'm still a fan -- would be a bigger fan if they'd offer a non-button-down collar). The workshirt, however, has got some length on the normal shirts, I think it's fair to say a few inches. It's been a while since I looked at the fit guide, but I thought they had combined the workshirt and oxford onto the same fit guide, but I feel that I have to be mistaken in that since they still come in very different sizes from eachother. If you're 6'1 and fit into the medium, the slim workshirt appears to hit it's sweet spot in the Medium. The length and fit of the G button downs work good for me. I'm 6'1" and the XL classic is great length for me and an overall good fit. I hear a few complaints that the waist is too baggy and although I wouldn't complain if they brought them in a smidge I think they are fine as is. I have a 7 1/2" drop from chest to waist fwiw. I hear a lot of dislike for the G button down shirts but I like them. Matt, with you doing the Arnold workout, I figured you would be at about a 12" drop, LOL

I actually always bulk a little bit in the winter unintentionally and put on a bit more body fat so my waist gets a bit bigger. This coupled with the fact that the Arnold routine has increased the size of my quads, glutes, and hams is why I'm struggling to fit in to a lot of my jeans now. I just checked my body fat yesterday and I'm up to just over 10% body fat right now! for me that's like...yikes!!..lol..so I'm starting to cut a bit early this year so by summer when I cut back down to at least 8% bf I should have a more drastic chest-to-waist drop. Hopefully I can get it back down to 6-7%, I usually always do for summer.

44 chest 34 waist is my goal 10 drop.
Unfortunately that would mean selling all my clothing.

Somebody posted a short time ago that TS had stated they use the shop in Portugal, for sewing some of the heavier garments, as the shop there is more suited for that work, then their local shop. My TS glacier shirt is made in Portugal and I absolutely love it.

I'd like to know how the waist is being measured. Is it the narrowest point or where the jeans sit?

SPOILER ALERT!! Indigo fades from dark navy to a light/medium blue. I'm sorry to do it, but I had to ruin the wabisabi workshirt for everyone, since I've already done so in the Gustin community. Equal Opportunity Spoilage.

I'm confused by that guy. He raged a few weeks ago, then said all is well, and now is raging again. And he's very much not a fanboy. Much of his rage is against the so called fanboys.

Ha. No, it is not me. Since we have this place, I don't need that community to discuss things anymore. I only went there to check out an item or two after members here mentioned some "exciting" items. Frankly, I don't see the point about this whole Gustin model anymore. Price is high, wait time is long and no return if I don't like the item. I am getting more educated nowadays by members here and I can find something with higher quality in similar price range with no wait time. If I really want to shop for bargain and don't mind to wait, I can go LD. If I really want some specialized with good value, I can go CF. My whole spectrum of denim wear is now covered.

Just got the swoop on a ZimLight WS :-)
Now I can finally fulfill my dream of wearing a Canadian Tuxedo of matching fabric! (But honestly I know I'll try it on around the house)

Also, do us all a favor and DO NOT TAKE YOUR WABISABI OUT OF THE PACKAGE! heh. I'm actually about to wash mine again to try to shrink it a bit more, and expect it to come out a bit more blue than it went in. Shit. Spoiled it again. Oh, and the shipping button disappeared on the brown x black workshirt, so with any luck I'll have it Saturday. Chinos still indicating they'll ship by the end of the week -- though I'm worried I'll actually get the Japan Union Blues before these chinos.

Since I have no access to the G community, I have absolutely no idea you are saying up here. Is the Wabisabi WS a POS? What is the problem with the Blue? Btw, any after wash photo to share?

I'm finding that you learn which fabrics are truly unique, and then you know what to jump on over at Gustin. If you're patient over the three months or four that you would be waiting, some darn place is gonna do a sale and you'll be able to find the thing that you really wanted but settled for the Gustin version. That said, I really do like the Gustin slim fit, it looks alright on me, and I have a pretty good idea what I'm gonna get. It (and all you guys) really has lead to curiosity in other brands and how they do things, and while I'm still backing items from Gustin sometimes, I find I'm trolling sales for other stuff more often now cause I want to explore other brands. Especially since Gustin won't give a non-button-down-collar option on anything other than the workshirt, which seems to have disappeared for a while.
