I...would not. I've gone back and forth on that thing a dozen times since it was released, but I finally decided that I'm just not going to drop $140-180 on something that might be very nice but has a few issues that give me reservations. Yeah, but if you got the Gustin CPO, at least you'd have a handy place to carry your phone. and your sunglasses. and your tablet. and your wallet. and your tv remote. and your leftovers from lunch. and some gum. and pens. and dental floss. and another cpo in case the one you are wearing gets dirty.

It is still going to be better to drop $140 for a Work shirt, trust me on that.

Have the Japan Hickory Stripe WS, and the buttons all seem to be loosening rapidly. One of them is dangerously close to falling off. Pretty sure every one of them needs to be re-done. Sure hope I don't lose one, as there were none provided as extras. Disappointing QC here.

You guys are killing me. I backed the herringbone last night, read all the complaints on sizing/quality and cancelled this morning. Definitely sticking with my plan to see how the zimb fits/feels before backing another even though I think that herringbone is the best looking Gustin shirt yet.

IxI WS size Large Classic fit Spec(Actual Measurement) Chest: 45 1/2 (46) Shoulders: 19 (18 1/2) Waist: 43 1/2 (44 1/2) Sleeve: 35 1/2 (37 1/4) Center Back Length: 30 7/8 (31 3/4) Got Dangit! - Hank Hill I'm trying to break my F bomb habit. Ickes, this is a bummer, man. I'm not feeling real optimistic about my WS's after the most recent posts on fits. My only hope is that on the postal and the wabi we are dealing with denim and there will be a bit of shrinkage available so maybe a hot soak will help if mine come in tent sized. The brown black is going to really piss me off if it's huge though......Actually if a refund were possible I'd just send them back and be done if they come in huge, I don't want to deal with store credit though. I'd rather take a loss and sell them for cash and wash my hands of it. I went Slim XL (usually I'm L but G stuff USED to run small grrrrrr), the classic L you received would fit me pretty well. depending on the chest and waist circumference. Looks like a flood of WS's will be on the G B/S/T board soon. I just backed the green canvas chinos too....thinking hard about cancelling and just bailing out of backing G stuff altogether. If they come out with pieces I like in the future I can always get them from disgruntled buyers and usually the actual measurements are provided. Funny thing is that's how I acquired my first G jeans, maybe the circle is complete lol... (edit....just read the loose button posts above. Done...no more backing....out on the chinos....all incoming WS are on notice, not fit = B/S/T, still hanging out here because you guys are cool) (2nd edit....I just got a denim western shirt in made by The Flat Head and the thing is so well made it makes me want to put it in a glass box so I can stare at it in awe when I drink. Picked it up direct from Japan for about 220 shipped and had it in a week. My G WS's cost about 160. f!@k it. I'm back to F bombs.)

I honestly wouldn't have even considered them if I didn't have store credit.

If my WabiSabi shirt is to big for me, I'll be looking for a Large. Keep me in mind for any of yours that aren't fitting you right.

I have the Postal WS on order, and someday it will arrive. After seeing the measurments Ickes put up, I can see that going with the new sew shop that does shirts for Japanese markets, is no better than what they were using, or total BS. I suppose that when your a business that doesn't have a refund policy, what is there incentive to change anything? At worst for them, they take your garment back, keep your money, and sell you something else down the road that might, or might not work. With so many just outright selling bad fitting stuff on their own, they don't even have to deal with anything. If my shirt doesn't fit, I'll send it back, and if I can only get store credit, I might buy some wallets for Christmas gifts, as they can't really f*uck those up.

I'm mostly waiting for G to drop a chambray or two that grabs me. I made such a fuss about the Tall fit that I feel like I should pick up at least one, and I could use another chambray.

I believe someone shared an web article here about the new Gustin work shirt factory is just a subsidiary of SKY that sew up all the Gustin Jeans. Frankly, Gustin was a "jeans" company that is trying to learn how to make tops.

If youre unhappy with the fit, I'll buy both those Workshirts off you. just as long as you don't shrink them. It'd really help me out.

I think you may need to relax a little bit. Exophobe and another guy said their work shirts shrunk down to the normal button down sizes after a wash and air dry.Exophobe's WS shrunk down because it was the HIckory Stripe fabric, which is a looser fabric and and has the room to shrink, when dealing with denim WS, which are all sanforized (& densely woven) , any kind of shrinkage will be minimal (<.5") As seen by members trying to shrink their IxI WS. So if you're thinking all WS will shrink like Exophobes, you have another thing coming.

I have a Hickory Stripe of a different brand that I picked up at a thrift store a while back, and although it was baggy on me, it had never been washed, and a hot wash, and dry shrunk it into a nice work shirt for me. Sanforized denim would have never shrunk that much.

devastitis; yeah, what the others are saying is true...the IxI probably isn't going to shrink that much. My IxI is the worst fitting shirt I have in my closet, no exaggeration. It is a nightgown with tight sleeves at the bicep but with sleeves about 2" too long. It is the weirdest freaking fit I've ever seen. GUSTIN needs to stick to jeans, I'm done with them. I would have been better off to just have copped an IH shirt.

Other than TS, I can only hope Lawless delivers, because there's not much made is USA shirting that works for me, and IH only does a couple that would fit. If my Gustin shirt doesn't work, then it will save me the trouble of even looking there anymore, because I really have enought jeans to last for quite some time.

Fingers crossed and hoping that my medium Zimb WS fits… (Also have an IH UHF on the way... Sorry, it will not... except you are 6'2". The hem length is just too LONG.

If the shirts fit, I'm keeping them, if they don't, they get sold and I've already spoken to someone about that. I've got the sense of relief one gets when breaking up with a GF you realized you hadn't been that into for a long time anyway. Plus her friends are more fun to hang out with than she was
