Which jeans are you wearing these days? Have you been able to put a lot of time into one pair and get some great fades? Which denim is it? I'm into my 16.5 oz cone but now that it is warming up here in AZ I'm switching to some 12 oz Rainbow selvedge I've been working on for 2 years. What are you wearing these days? It's warm in AZ! You need some lighter jeans. Those 12 oz Rainbows are pretty cool. I'd love to see some pics of what 2 years of wear look like. Personally, I have been dedicated to some 26 oz Gustins that I got last August before I discovered Lawless. I've been wearing them 6 days a week since last August and they are really coming along. It hasn't gotten too warm in Boston for them yet. I do have some 18.5oz LDs that I can't wait to fade!!

Good question. The LA factory will start production next week. Thursday to be exact. At full speed we will produce 8-10,000 units a month. As for back order, we are focusing on the back orders 1st. My Goal is to have have us caught up over the next 30-45 days. So the LA Factory is already fully staffed to produce 8-10,000 units a month, or is 8-10,000 units what you are projecting if it is fully staffed?

Roman, I've been watching Lawless since the November sales. While I love the price point as a consumer, I'm worried that the 50% sales devalue the brand and jeopardizes the sustainability of your business. Do you have anything to say on this subject? Pevil, We have done alot a research and number crunching and have settle on our $55 jean. At this price point Its as low as I can go and still be profitable while providing a great product. I wanted to be sure we continue to provide a great production at this price point with zero short cuts.

We are doing training right now. We will be producing 8-10,000 units within 60 days. We will start producing 2000 units monthly immediately.

romanThe biggest obstacle to me for Lawless seems to be the disgruntled customers who either never received items and got a refund or are still waiting for their items or refund. Is there any way a dedicated person could be put in place to reach out to these people and take care of them? As we know a happy customer might tell a couple people about their experience but a disgruntled customer spreads the word like wildfire. I agree Winterland. We have added more customer service reps to the team and they have started going through the orders and reaching out trying to assist where ever they can. That is good to hear. That being I do know there are members here some who have almost given up because they are so frustrated. They have either tried for refunds or have orders that literally have been forgotten about. I have always tried to give the advice of calling seems to be the best. I have given my experience and I guess I have been lucky as when I call I have gotten someone on the other end of the phone. Some members have responded that they have talked to someone and been given timelines for either a refund or when they will get their items that then does not happen.

It is very frustrating for me to also hear that someone has called and gotten no answer. I'm on the team everyday to make sure everyone that reaches out is contacted. This new system has been in trial runs for a few days now with great success. Monday it will be in full mode.

roman - I've personally had a bad experience as far as everything went with your company. Not so much the wait time but when I did receive items all three were wrong in one way or another. Some options were changed which I know things were difficult with the custom orders. But the worse was pockets misaligned, jeans leather patch upside down, and I received the completely different fabric than I ordered. My boiled down question is what steps have you taken to take care of the Quality control issues that have been popping up? At this point I've sworn off your brand until I have some concrete reasons things have changed.

I have terminated anyone that does not take pride in their work. I have made it very clear. Put out a bad product and loss your job. Quality control will always be an issue as it would with any brand. So I dont have an excuse other then I will tolerate a poorly made product. Did you return the items? Did you get a refund? What can I do for you?

I basically just wear my jeans with the upside down patch and a good story. The twill/chambray shirt will be a yard workshirt for the fall.

To my knowledge he never reached out so that we could fix the issue. Prehaps he reached out at a time when we where going through some staff changes. Either way I would have been happy to correct the issue if he sent them back or provide a full refund.

There is some concern that the capacity of the LA factory will be used to fill contracts like the Huckberry one at the expense of outstanding custom orders. Are you committed to getting the fall 2014 custom orders filled ASAP before taking on more contract work?

I wanted to throw out a couple of the big questions first. As I have posted to the forum before when Lawless does make the correct item and it is made with the fabric and options asked for I don't think there is a better bargain out there. A big bonus it is USA made. My 14oz IxI western shirt is looking amazing and so did the jeans I received only they were too small in the waist.
Other members have experienced this and have good things to say when the same situation applies.
Hopefully the backlog and quality control will be taken care of soon as I know there are many who would order but have held off until the situation is taken care of.

So we had to fulfill the order of 40 kevlar jeans. Since then I have instructed the team to turn down any offers of colabs or promotions. It will be focusing on the back orders.

I am a very lucky/fortunate owner of some 18.5oz that Roman gave for free to some early members of this forum. They are top notch and awesome jeans.

If you get a size that doesn't fit I will always change them out. With the RTW it will be much easier. The custom is a challenge since it was a custom piece that now has to be made all over again. In some cause the fabric is no longer available. Either way I never what you to feel stuck with something. Return it and let me know what you need to make it right. I wish I could say we are going to get this right every time but the truth is we are going to make mistakes, but it's always my goal to make sure it's a great product but when its not right tell me so I can take care of it.

Thank you for committing to backlog. Also, thank you for being open about that contract. 40 pairs really isn't that much. On the surface it appeared that the contract may have been hundreds of pairs of jeans at the expense of backlogged custom orders and was giving some of us a bad feeling.

Hi Roman,
I've been pretty lucky in ordering and getting things that fit and I love them. I am a KS backer and was wondering how the promised discount is going to work in the future. For example I don't think I can get my KS discount on the kids denim if I were to order.

I was able to do this with the support of you kickstarters. I will be setting up the system so that you can all still get your 50% off as promised. So yes you will be able to get the kids jeans.
