I wonder if Roman has ever received a Roman Helmet Maybe, but he's certainly familiar with the Roman HolidayI think the Roman part is correct - you ever feel like you've been dealing with Caligula?

I did not want to order again lawless products as it was long and painful to get my first 2 orders right... A third one (from nov. 3) is still in a "awaiting fullfilment" status...
As they owe me $40 and refund is almost impossible to get, i choose credit store and get it 2 minutes after i call them...
So i ordered 2 RTW : 11oz IxI and 12oz light indigo : order #4133 from friday the 22nd... just get a shipping notice today, a real shipping notice !!! quite impressive !!!
Let's hope i'll get the right size in the right fabric !!!

Coming in here is like asking my ex how her dating life was after we got divorced. I'm unsure if success or total failure will make me happier, but both are kinda amusing and I've got no dog in either fight.

RTW, according to instagram comments from ldandco, is now 24-48 hours processing with "normal 1-2 weeks retail shipping time". It'd be cool to, at some point, see them make good on a single promise they make to customers. Just one.

I eventually got there with the ex, you guys just need to get there with Fruit Lettuce. Or not, it's good entertainment and even if you bought the company, it should still be cheaper than my misadventures.

Also, just more confirmation that these are 'read to wear' and not 'ready to ship'. And, where is '1 to 2 weeks' equal to 'normal retail shipping'? The only place that I can think of is when you order something from Amazon or Ebay that is shipped on the slow boat from China.

That's cute. 24-48 hours to take your money, and then "normal" (which means could and probably will take longer than) 1-2 weeks to actually fulfill the order.

Especially if they're normalizing based on their own time scales...which is at least 3:1

This is worrisome.. the statement implies that they're falling behind in some sizes and are making to order instead of shipping from stock.. it also indicates the level of delusion they have when they think in this day and age of Amazon prime and ubiquitous free 2 day shipping that "normal retail shipping time" is 1-2 weeks. There's no doubt that the Tucson facility will eventually, if not already, have much higher productivity than Phoenix, but they've already managed to turn a(nother) great idea into a train wreck. Restraint and discipline.. put Roman on the 90 day no new orders plan, too.

After getting cold feet and recvg refund through CC, I almost bit on the RTW. Luckily my wait and see side won over my impulse buy side. However, if LD can get their act together, I am going to give them another shot. However, today is not that day.

The thing that sticks in my mind, is that Sal commented that LD has a serious problem with getting skilled sewers to employ. That said, I'm not sure how that will change by opening up a facility in Tucson, unless they have a lot of unemployed skilled sewers in that city, looking for jobs. For me, its show me the money, otherwise its just another pipe dream of Romans.

To add to all this...I like how the RTW price goes from $35 to $45 overnight. Not to mention, the "50% off everything" is a bunch of BS. They pick and choose what we receive 50% off.

It could be their clever way of tightening demand. If their backlog gets to like a week, for example, maybe they raise the price by $10 and state that lead times are now at 1-2 weeks. If backlog rises to two weeks, maybe they raise another $10 and state that lead times are now 2-3 or 4 weeks. This would actually be pretty innovative and would help balance margin and demand. Somehow I doubt this is the actual plan, though..

The whole LD way of doing buisness is just down right Messy. No rhyme or reason. &his prices are all over the map $35 pair jeans and $185 shirt. Still telling new customers not to worry about wrong sizing, he'll make it all good, just send them back.
