Yeah, that was what fixed Gustin for me, close on TS. Their fall drops are always better than spring so I'm giving 'em one more chance. Everyone freaks out each spring about them. I'm not a fan of the gradual move toward Portugal and Turkey either, but I got the indigo star yesterday, wearing it today (still made in CA, checked the tag). Damn. Nice shirt. I also find myself going back to the white jacquard from last year quite a bit. They're a pretty good purveyor of men's clothing, not batting 1.000, but who is? Oh they will still be getting cash from me. I love many of their fits. I did forward my comment up-thread to a CS rep on SF and he did acknowledge reading it so perhaps it will help. As I have said before, I pay premiums for MiUSA but I'm not married to it. At the end of the day I need clothes that fit. I'd love to see Freenote Cloth expand their shirt offerings but man are they expensive at retail.

Few things in the latest survey that I really liked. Mostly that chambray with the black snaps, and the cord shirt.

Must be because I rated most of the stuff last round pretty low. You would think with them selling out near instantly on that black western with white snaps that they would crank another batch of those out.

Chambray looks great and is California made. Praise the FSM.
Interesting new feature of the survey that asks what you like most or least. Sad they don't have a Portugal option for least favorite thing.

I had this survey in 8 different email addresses. I'm bound to get booted from the future invites given that I wasn't overly kind. I will say that I like that they give options to identify why you like/why you dislike an item. Of course, one of those choices is not country of production or even an open field. They appear to be looking for dialed-in feedback but only to an extent.

I haven't received a survey in awhile. Oh well. Same here. I thinks its probably because I haven't bought anything from them in quite a while, and was honest in answering the survey with scores that I would never consider buying. Just as well, as I get enough e-mail crap.

They really seem like a brand that should split in two. Send the Hydes and Telegraph stuff to Sailor Twitch or Tiny Fish 'R' Us.

I'll give them a flow chart for free.
Are the shirt or pants patterned? If yes = Portugal/Spain Else = California
Is the shirt named California? Always = made in California
Is it a shirt? Add half an inch to all cuff measurements
Are they jeans? Stop, too many other options
Is it a popover? Stop, no one wants that.
Is it a Hyde or a Telegraph something? Stop, create a new brand and stop cluttering up TS with this bad office wear.

i've stopped receiving survey emails as well. so much for listening to their customers. they must only want their surveys rated by those that give positive reviews to everything they release.

I've rated all EU made pieces as 1 star and give 3 or 4 for the better MiUSA things and I still get the surveys. But I've bought a few things recently, which Insuspect is the biggest factor.

I've never bought a thing from them, but signed up for the newsletter for the discount code, and I got the survey. Seems odd they would exclude possible participants from a survey based on what and when they bought unless it was to favor people who have spent more. But you would think they would even still send the survey out to everyone and then sift the data however they like. Sounds like a poorly run marketing department.

I get them occasionally, and I haven't bought anything since they moved productions and raised prices. I seriously doubt they're specifically removing certain people, they probably just use the same list service that Gustin uses which randomly excludes subscribers.

I never buy anything from them anymore other than a T recently that I returned. I always give 1's and 2's on most everything on the surveys cause none of their stuff is appealing at all anymore.....and I still get the surveys.

I think TS has been offering up some good stuff. Wearing the Cone Mills Corded Indigo Utility shirt this evening. The fabric is very cool looking up close (kind of looks like Chain stitch and sashiko combined). Now I get that the pockets aren't everyone's cup of tea. But come on guys, does it always have to be a Western? The HBone mechanic I think was a bargain ($68) and a handsome looking rugged (9oz) do anything work shirt. I highly recommend the The Glacier Shirt Indigo French Terry. If your looking for a sharp but very comfortable shirt, With Snaps (to give you that western comfort feel) This is a great 4 season alternative to flannel. And let's face it, you can't beat the price point.

Indigo Terry is so tits. Love mine. But it sure as hell isnt seeing summer duty in TX.
My (Portuguese) blue and grey flannel is actually even better and more versatile. Will be buying any MiUSA shirts they stick snaps on in the future.
