For sure. Which I'm fine with, because I've been spending too much. Haha. And preppy/dressy is fine with me, because I wear that stuff to the office. But boring/ugly preppy is not fine haha. Their hydes, their (non oxford or denim) jacks and their madras all fit into this category. Not at all what they do well.

would argue that like, that's just your opinion, man.
i picked up the berry indian madras and am more than happy with it. probably more so than any other TS shirt i've purchased. and i'm not preppy. it encouraged me to pick up one of the navy plaid hydes that just released...haven't received it yet so i can't provide feedback.
i am seeing excitement around their sketches that they post but that excitement fades fast when the sewed up samples are shown. the past few drops i've experienced that and i've seen it echoed here. i applaud TS for trying different things (ie. the popover in the latest round - not industry different but outside their normal repertoire) and using different fabrics. they can't all be a home run.
i think this latest round just suffers from crap patterns even though the material/concept is interesting. this isn't outside of what they've done in the past. they go back and forth between providing fashion for the office worker and the shop worker.

Cool, that's good to know. Perhaps it's just how they photograph. And it's definitely just my totally subjective opinion, man. Haha. Love that you used that quote. And yeah, they definitely go back and forth, which is good, and I am glad those options are out there for when they eventually offer an office wear option that I like. The other options just haven't been for me, but that's great to know that it works for you so well and the quality is on par with their other stuff. So, maybe they do do it well! I just need a fabric I'm into, I guess!

I got the spruce madras and it's great. I'll give them props on this round for not doing just yet another button down, even if I'm meh on the look of the club collar shirt.

I actually like the look of the fabric on the club collar shirt. I'm a little iffy on the club collar itself, although compared to most club collars I've seen the TS one is very subdued. I'm hoping they don't release any shirts I'm really interested in until I get the Army green OCBD and confirm my sizing.

I'm not really a fan of the Telegraph, but the material is known and it's US made. That trumps Chinese workshop and unknown material. Now if you want to compare to the Hickeys on STP, I can't really defend against that, aside from them being a much more structured and formal style.

Kinda regret not grabbing that shirt. I may try the Telegraph pants, price isn't bad for US made wool. The jacket doesn't do anything for me.

What's a reasonable price for a U.S. Made suit? $325 seems like a pretty decent price for such a thing.

I've been looking for a Tweed suit for awhile now. It's tricky finding one that looks and fits right. I don't think it's something I could buy over the net. I'd have to try it on. And not with Patch pockets.

Come Fall/Winter mix it up a bit. Come Spring/Summer break out a cotton suit. hespokestyle.com/brown-tweed-suit/

Agreed, the patch pockets and non Harris tweed kill it for me.

I've been looking for a Harris Tweed herringbone suit for a long time. Looks like I'll have to keep looking. If SuSu would make one that is available in separates in the Napoli fit, I'd probably be all over it.

Style is subjective but the price is pretty darn good for a made in the USA suit.

Telegraph jacket and pants are thin, shapeless and weirdly cut from my experience. US made is cool and all, but it looks about half as nice in person compared to something similar from banana republic.

I got the jacket and pants in the previous incarnation, "Birdseye," and immediately sent them back. They were very ill-fitting. Shapeless is the right word. Just kinda hung there. Not their best work. Love TS, but not their suiting and dress clothes that I've tried. Just one guy's opinion.

TS is loosing me...big time. Ive really liked some of their shirts over the past few years but lately they are falling flat with uninteresting releases for the most part.
