As you know, I'm easily offended, and I am offended that they used that beautiful indigo stripe fabric in a popover instead of a jack. Should we start a petition? We must sound like a bunch of babies.

I'm fine with TS having some less than inspiring drops: I was starting to get close to fanboi territory and I'm happy to save a few bucks.

Is it possible that TS is the new G?

Is it possible that TS is the new G? No. Because I can order non-Workshop things from TS and get them in a reasonable amount of time like a normal website. And their clothes are better.

I don't know...I'm starting to debate the opinion that TS has better clothes than G. Also you can purchase stuff from G for immediate delivery from their stock store and main page.

Generally speaking, there's a little more consistency with the TS fit. All of my slim chinos are consistent. The sleeves are consistently tight.

For shirts there's just no comparison.
To be fair it boggles my mind that anyone owns two Gustin shirts. The first should have been all you needed to know.
Shit, I own two. But one's a workshirt.

Umm, awkward...yeah, I own 8. But I'm that a-hole that fits perfectly between classic medium and slim large. Been lucky there.

Seriously. Have you seen the shit TS has been putting out? Horrible They still have a lot of core stuff that's actually wearable. My Gustin OCBD has a short window where I can tuck it in under a sweater and not see the stupid, misaligned placket, or care about the ridiculous scoops.

Yet I still like the floral one.

For shirts there's just no comparison. To be fair it boggles my mind that anyone owns two Gustin shirts. The first should have been all you needed to know. Shit, I own two. But one's a workshirt. first one was before they started exhibiting massive alignment issues. The monster twill I own looked too good to pass up, and has some minor issues that are also exhibited on the TS patterned shirt that I forgot to return. The funny thing about all this is that I believe they share local manufacturing partners, so the "better clothes" thing is an interesting idea, unless you're referring to their European produced goods. The two brands are most definitely inhabiting different spheres right now, though, and I think TS is more where us Gustin forum people were hoping to see Gustin get to by now. TS is certainly going through some growing pains right now, and I wish they could have found more solid partners in the USA to make their shirts, but that's not how it worked out.

Seriously. Have you seen the shit TS has been putting out? Horrible Yes. I have seen it. It's one run. That's like me making fun of all of IH for putting out short-sleeved sweatshirts and cargo shorts.......oh wait. Well, you get the point. This natural to indigo lineup is a bad line for spring. They have put out consistently cool stuff for years now. To compare them to the scattershot rabbit turds G craps out whenever they can score cheap fabric is a bit unfair, I think. TS at least has a vision, and their clothes are made very well (aside from the stray tight cuff).

Still bummed that I have one pair of Chinos made in the US and the recent ones were made in Spain. Why offshore something you seem perfectly capable of doing locally?
