Really hope it's jacquard like the current Jack. I talked to TS yesterday and confirmed that this will be a future Workshop offering, perhaps next week. And yes, it is jacquard fabric. Excellent. I'm a backer.

I'm backing the jack already, it'd be nice to get both in hand and decide which to keep but, they're timed pretty far apart. Love the contrasting buttons.

They are different jacquards, though, so you might have to keep both the California and the (what looks to be) utility shirt. I really like the weft pattern on the California, unfortunately the timing doesn't work for me and I'm unlikely to pay the full price when it hits the store.

devastitis are you sure your dry cleaner is actually dry cleaning your cotton shirts or just laundering and ironing them? In my experience, most dry cleaners automatically do the latter. Maybe I've just been lucky, but my dry cleaners have always recommended things like laundering shirts, pressing a suit instead of subjecting it to dry cleaning and using less starch instead of more. Do agree with getting a steamer though. Even a travel model beats the heck out of ironing. I honestly don't mind if all they're doing is washing and ironing. I'll pay $2 for someone to do that for me.

I totally agree and that's what I do for "dress" shirts that I rarely have to wear but need to look presentable when I do...ironically we seem to have stricter requirements for our non dress "work" shirts because of shrinking and bleeding and all these little nuances that keep us up at night.

Especially if the buttons are blue, which is what they appear to be. Is the jacquard fabric different on the gussets and the rest of the shirt? That seems either cool or weird or coolandweird, I haven't decided...

Interesting...

Late to this party.... devastitis you dry clean your mechanics shirt?! Really? brentkuz....I'm speechless Ok, what's the deal with these TS shirts? They're making a work shirt with the same fabric as that white indigo jacquard thing? But the work shirt has blue buttons?

Two different natural with blue dot jacquards, one has a backside that is wavy lines (the California), and then a utility shirt where the backside is sort of star shapes. The utility shirt looks like it's also going to be released in blue with white dots. TS is indicating the utility shirt is likely to drop next week.

Yup..I don't like the beaten up wrinkled look after I wash shirts and hang dry, so I get them dry cleaned. But, none of my Iron Heart shirts have seen the dry cleaners. Just my normal button ups and button downs.

How are the coppers fading? They're not, because I'm wearing them as much as all my other indigo pairs. Unless they're the antiques, I'm really not putting any time in them. I washed these today, and plan to start wearing them in a rotation just to see what they look like beat up. I turned them inside out and ran them in the washing machine on cold, and when I opened the washer it looked like someone had thrown glitter all over the pants they were so shiny. It's gonna take a bit of nerve to let these things out of the house. Once they dry I'll see if I can't get them covered in some sawdust and dirt.

Wooo buddy, these jackets look like they might not fund, especially considering that the majority of the funding for these things seems to come when they first kick off. There also seems to be a surge at the deadline too, but not as strong as when they are first dropped. Currently, 18% for the Indigo and only 8% for the Natural.

They ran an extra long campaign to get the horrid longwings to fund. I suspect they'll do the same for the Bon Jovi and Bruce jackets too.

As horrible as Bon Jovi is, the natural jacket is worse. It's a Bieber jacket. And a Bruce denim jacket would actually be a denim vest. Otherwise, a perfecto is what he rolls in. But a Google image search of "Bruce Springsteen Jacket" turned up the following nightmare fuel:
