Has anyone ordered from that website and actually gotten something, I was talking to customer service and they said it was the early prototype website and that the items are not even updated for true stock?
Debated on the blackwatch project jacket last time. I think I got the same fabric in the flannel silhouette and it's pretty substantial. I should have sized up to a 44 instead of a 42 as it seems to fit slightly tighter. For local bay area, it's warming a tad but I guess you can wear it only colder days. I always felt warm with my blackwatch flannel.

I'll measure mine. I have both fits of TS 34 and G 35. Were you able to get around to measuring?

Their slim chinos in a 33 couldn't get past my calves. Their slim in a 34 took a lot of work and ended up looking like jeggings on me. I feel their slim chinos fit a slender and not as muscular individual in those two sizes I mentioned. Their democratic chinos are still slim but more doable for me as it has a little more wiggle room. Not sure if any of that info helps ya out. If you look at the slim chino model wearing the olive color that's what it looked like on me but in a size 34 and tight lol.

Also, what is your waist/thigh measurements?

Also, what is your waist/thigh measurements? I own one pair of G denim, 36 slim black x aquas that i got from Brent on here. Didn't seem like he wore it a lot but I measured it and the specs are bigger than what is on G's size guide. My actual thigh measurements at the widest point is just a little under 26" and true waist is a about a 36. The tighest pair of jeans i own in the top block/thighs are my Rag n Bone Slim Archive denims. Those have a low rise and 12.75" thigh at the crotch. For the TS chinos, if you like the tighter fit in the thighs the slims may work for you. I have a big booty and some big thighs so its hard for me to wear their slim without feeling like a squeezed banana. Also, I prefer breathing room.

Their emails have been a disaster today. I was having trouble with their "automated return system", and it took two contacts to their C.S. to get the pre-paid label. I cant place an order on the Sailor-Twitch website as it ends with a "payment gateway is invalid"? Growing pains, I guess, and certainly not the end of the world on my end.

Their emails have been a disaster today. i don't know if i'd go quite that far. looks like they probably mistakenly sent the apology (with coupon) to every email address in their system...then corrected with a follow to any address not associated with a sweater purchase. it's not their issue that so many of us have signed up with every email address we have and thus received the same email multiple times. i still give them credit for trying to proactively notify customers of issues and shipping status on pre-ordered items.

I know the coupon code wasn't meant for everyone, but it was still disappointing that it didn't work when I tried it lol..I was going to buy everything in the workshop. Chinos, the indigo striped shirt, the utility shirt, one or both dresses and both parkers for the SO.

Well the whaler sweater disaster is finally complete. After months of waiting and being pushed back a few times. Then giving 40% of the original purchase price as a refund. Now it's over plug pulled.
30% off coupon and full refund. Done

Tried to exchange my 44 moto jacket for a 42 after weeks of trying they finally emailed me back saying there are no more 42's but they will take a refund.
Now I gotta figure if it's worth $706 to keep or ship it back for a refund.

devastitis - for reference on the TS slim chinos, I have both the democratic fit and the slim and I would say the slim fit closer to the G skinny fit. Not a full on jegging, but definitely a slim fit. I prefer it given the slim look is on point for me, but not worth trying if you enjoy calf raises day. The democratic fit is also a regular for me, and it's definitely more in line with the G slim fit. I would say the democratic fit is going to be more transcendent and last longer (style-wise).

I'll measure mine. I have both fits of TS 34 and G 35. Were you able to get around to measuring? Okay, remember that I hot washed and dryed my straight G's and my slim G's have been hot washed but not dried. TS pants have been cold washed and dried on medium. All measurements with pants laid flat, two inches down. TS 34 Demo - 13" TS 34 Slim - 12", maybe just a hair over G 35 Straight - 12" G 35 Slim - 11.5" I'd actually counter drewcandraw's fit remarks with G and TS fits being pretty similar with TS just having smaller cuffs and slightly more rear rise on the slims. I was surprised that both TS show over spec, but they do have a roomier ass and upper thigh area, just tapering more to the knee and below. It's a better looking fit for me than either G cut, which is why I haven't backed any G chinos. I just wish TS would do more interesting colors.

I would agree with bentin on the overall assessment of both - i.e. rise and fit. It's by no means a bad look with the slim fit, but the demo fit is also very clean and trim as well.
