This is nearly identical to the fabric that Buzz Rickson and The Hill-Side and other Japanese brands have used, calling it either "covert" chambray or "mock twist" chambray. It's extremely nice fabric. Beefy, heavy, stiff at first (but then softens), unique color and characteristics. Buzz was doing it first I believe. That one has been around for years. I have that one in salt and pepper, and the Freeriders Green covert. DO NOT WASH OR DRY THIS SHIRT IN THE MACHINES. They will twist all up on you. Hand wash cold, hang dry.

I don't think the pockets look bad, and the fabric is incredible. Much more interesting than other chambrays I see, like the IHSH-21 or IHSH-13.

I'm warming to the white cuff placket lining (whatever that's called), but I really can't get behind the white strip lining the placket on all their workshirts.

Really dig the cut of this shirt in the swift mills denim. This fabric looks and reads like its different from the norm. The color reminds me of TS's oxford, "The Jack: in Tiburon Grey", which is one awesome shirt with some great texture and high/low color.
I am looking forward to the end of April

I regret not backing the work oxfords when they were in the workshop.

I regret not backing the work oxfords when they were in the workshop. I was fortunate as the grey sold old hella quick when they went live (not presale). TS sometimes announces (email) new limited release other times I see stuff randomly appear; IDK? I do enjoy the grey oxford more than the pine, which is very dark. I cant even find the product page for these two shirts on TS website--just curious how they describe the fabric.

Usually after a workshop item is done with production, the release extras for sale in their store at full price. I think that's what you got in on.

Devastitis: Yes, that's what happened--it really makes you appreciate getting in on the pre-orders. Does anyone know if they send an email out giving a heads up when they drop the "extra" workshop stuff or does it coincide with the shipping of the pre-orders? I guess i'm just curious what's the best way not to miss out on past workshop items?

Edit: just like devastitis said.

Those dresses are cut like a hospital gown. Yeesh. Kinda wish they would just put the women's stuff separate. Nothing really has looked that good. Kinda odd stuff.
