I normally dislike long wings, but they look pretty awesome, especially if you can tack on a 20% off coupon. Love the peanut suedes.

I think bentin would look great in that ivory dress. Holding out for indigo. For when you want to flash your crock to the world?

These are all truly atrocious. But I guess they have to try and appeal to more people than just the workshirt/indigo/denim/flannel crowd.

I cant stand dress shirts with no pocket and placket.
I would love to buy more dress/casual shirts from TS. I have one that I wear all the time. It's just that I would prefer a pocket and different fabrics.

Longwings rock--especially Trickers longwing boots.
I can deal with the french placket, but not the lack of a pocket.

Neither do French plackets or button cuffs for that matter. In summary, French plackets - no, French cuffs - always.

I have exactly 1 actual dress shirt that goes with my 1 suit which I occasionally have to wear to a wedding, funeral, or meeting with my banker's boss. I have a few ties that match these items so that I don't look exactly like the last time someone saw me in a suit.

Been toning it down recently and have a comical imbalance between casual and dress wear.

Why do people want pockets on their dress shirts? I don't work in a business office environment at all but I feel it doesn't look as fresh. Do you actually use your shirt pockets lol? My rare occurrences of wearing a suit, my jacket is usually on which covers the pocket and when I store stuff it's actually in the jacket pockets. Just pondering it as I'm not as dappered as SF folks MiddleAge I see it more here in Silicon Valley/South bay areas where people around my age to the early 40s will dress like that.

Why do people want pockets on their dress shirts? I think it helps prevent the shirt from looking like a tube.

The guy wearing that shirt is not wearing a suit. I would like to buy shirts that some people call "dress shirts" that I would wear with khakis and possibly would work with a jacket, but the majority of the time not. The shirts I wear with suits is a totally different thing from my perspective.

Exactly. I have suit shirts and casual shirts for khakis and jeans. One has French cuffs and no pockets. The other usually has double flap pockets and button cuffs. Very few have a single pocket or button down collars. None have short sleeves.

I used to work at the SB (Santa Clara to be exact) and people dressed VERY casual. I don't know much nowaday but my guess is TS is designing the shirt for folks here in the city. People here are dressing more trendy or formal compare to the SB.

I wear suits a lot. I also like to take my suit jacket off after court for happy hour, dinner, what have you, and not look like a total ponce doing it. Wearing a very nice, very smart pocketed shirt (i.e. not a tube) helps in that regard. The pocket to me breaks up the lines and the eye and just looks better. It's not just one smooth plane. I dunno...personal preference.

^^makes sense I do wear khakis or chinos with button downs with a pocket cause it does make it non-tube like.
So is anyone going to order those rancourts? Did anyone here get the moto cap toe boots?
