I received an e-mail from Gustin to try one of their T shirts for free, and a dollar charge for shipping. I was looking to try one for a while, so couldn't pass it up.

Received my three pigment dye vneck t-shirts. The one I've been wearing today hits square on the shoulders, chest is a tad tight but it'll stretch, and the length is a tad long, but is perfectly fine. Fits me exactly as I was hoping, which is oddly the same as my heavyweight vneck that's a large. I might back more if the colors are interesting enough.

I've been a bit leery about trying one at full price. With my shoulder width, only the XXL would work for me, according to the fit guide. But, I hear the torso is equivalent to a circus tent. At least, now I will know for sure.

This is exactly how they got me. I had no intentions of trying a Gustin T shirt but they sent me one for free and dammit I love the darn things. By far my favorite product in the whole Gustin line up. I just backed the two pack of white V necks that's in the store now. I'll seriously have like 15 Gustin T shirts when I get those in.

Gustin is like a good heroin dealer. First time free then you're hooked. Until you die in a pile of your own vomit...indigo colored vomit.

Good to know I'm not the only one who got that free-ish (I heard that TV ad pitchman voice in my head, "Just pay processing!") t-shirt offer.

Good to know I'm not the only one who got that free-ish (I heard that TV ad pitchman voice in my head, "Just pay processing!") t-shirt offer. $1 is pretty damn good. I'm hoping the L fits me because the XL I got earlier is gigantic. I'm just hoping they continue sending me free t-shirts.

How does everyone like their free t-shirt? It's put me in a bit of a quandry as the large fits exactly right, but will be extra skin tight if it shrinks at all, and the XL is a tent. The free one is a dark grey, the first one was a GUSTIN logo tee in light grey. Otherwise I pretty much like everything about them -- if I were more motivated I'd take a look and see which one came in off-spec.

I wish mine would shrink some but i cant make it shrink anything! They are slightly big on me with the large and i suspect the medium would be a condom. Maybe the colored will be a little better...have 9 incoming smileyface!

Its an XXL, but is larger in the chest, and length, than the fit chart, but that's not a problem. I have been wearing the Goodwear heavy Ts, which are much more substantial. A detail I noticed, is the side seam. Not sure if its a negative, as I've only tried it on, and haven't worn it yet, but there is no seam on the Goodwear. Are all the Gustin Ts this way?

Love the no seam on the goodwears, dont love the thick collar and the flappy arms, would be great with a modernized version.

I haven't gotten any shrinkage out of my Gustin Ts other than the pigment dyed ones which shrank lengthwise after a wash and medium heat dry.

I didn't notice any shrink in mine, but that's probably to be expected in a cotton-poly blend. Still not a fan of the tag, but it hasn't bothered me all day today, so at least it's bearable.

Mine are a few year old, and I believe they only had the Classic when I bought mine. I'd try a slimmer fit if I were to get more. I have to say, that after a couple years of use, they haven't show any wear at all.

Best tshirt i ever got, my two also look like new, and they are substantial. I think i gave like £25 a pop for mine like 4 years ago.
Wil consider the New style!

davelewis and Griffin, exactly which Goodwear shirts are you guys buying? Some I've really liked and some aren't great at all IMO and I have also noticed that the sizing was wildly inconsistent on some of mine. I've been on their website a few times recently and it seems like they have quite a few different selections.

I got mine at www.aeroleatherclothing.COM the tees and stuff section. They shrink a whole size and then stays there forever. Its a really old cut tho and especially the neckpart is totally 80s so i wouldnt recommend the one on that site but for layering its still my favourite since its also warm. This in a modern cut would be Nice. Gustins organic are Nice, but i dont think i still have them in ten years being so thin.

I like the Mock Twist better, as it is very substantial, but a softer feeling material. All mine are very consistent with sizing. These things will last a very long time, but if I were to get some more down the road, would try one of their more fitted cuts.

Finally got my pigment-dyed 3 pack in: moss, faded rose and aquamarine. Damn these are some nice colors. The faded/muted nature of the pigment dye process makes these really beautiful and perfect for wearing with raws. Dig them big time. Wish they were thicker material but otherwise just great. I hope they use that material for the indigo tees and make other colors out of it with this pigment dye. That would be perfection.

They had a nice natural unevenness in color...lighter and fade-like...at the seams from the dye process, especially the rose, that makes them really pop. Dig em.
