You didn't miss anything. In all honesty, the Gustin offering was a 6oz Cone Jacquard, but, looking back on it, it had a floral pattern to it. They are both part of the Cone 110th anniversary collection. I love the look of both fabrics, and would have backed either of them. In my haste, I mistook them for one another. It's a mistake I won't regret, though. Gustin offered both this one and the floral pattern.

Gustin offered the same thing, but aligned vertically instead of horizontally. The shirt design and alignment make it significantly less appealing than the Fair Ends/TS shirt.

That's funny, I thought they offered it. But, when I checked the past campaigns, I couldn't find it. For a minute, I thought I'd lost my mind.

Hey guys, new to the forum here. A few of you here mentioned receiving the 9.5oz twill highlands shirt and I was wondering if I could get your input on it.
Is 9.5 oz pretty substantial? I'm trying to gauge just how thick or thin it actually is. Is it soft and drapes like a poplin shirt or is it stiff like a shirt jacket? Thick like a denim / flannel / chamois shirt? Was hoping for something more 3 seasons than just a warm winter only shirt. Thanks for the help!

Was hoping for something more 3 seasons than just a warm winter only shirt. Thanks for the help! It's quite substantial, and feels every bit of 9.5 oz. BUT, it does not feel overly warm. Depending on where you live, this can definitely be a 3 season shirt. It's not as stiff as a shirt jacket, but it is definitely less drapey than your typical sport shirt. It's substantial, not overly warm, soft...it is a great shirt.

Substaintial. Think of it like chino fabric but in shirt form. Not warm like flannel but a heavier weight shirt.

Thanks for the input guys. Do you think it'll get softer and drape more naturally as it gets worn and washed? I had a pair of work chinos that were 8.5 oz twill and stiff as cardboard and they never really ended up softening up much.

Grabbed two shirts with a recent 20% off code. The work oxford textured up real nice after a spin through the washer and dryer. And I don't know why, but I've always wanted that star pattern shirt. Reminds me of something you'd see in an old Western.

I jumped on the Democratic Chino in olive. I have the khaki and I love the fit (once I got the inseam adjusted to my height and not that of an NBA player). Too hard to pass up $78 chinos with a perfect fit. I may end up jumping on the Long Haul jacket since I really don't have a classic denim jacket (gasps heard throughout the community as they read that sentence). No really, I've been looking for the "perfect" jacket for so long I don't think I know what I want at this point.

I've not bought khakis since forever...

I've not bought khakis since forever... They don't feel as heavy as the 9.5 oz weight. In fact, my Navy American chinos from G feel a little heavier (at 8 oz). I've washed and dried the khaki ones already with no issues and the 33 slim is spot on. It may be a little "too slim" for some peoples preferences, as they are a little more slim than my G slim chinos, but I love the fit and look with my boots.

Thanks Matt. Which cut did you get the regular or the slims?

Thanks Matt. Which cut did you get the regular or the slims? Slim in both (TS and G), although I'd definitely say the TS is slightly more slim in fit.

Reminds me of something you'd see in an old Western. Nice. Just received the same work Oxford. Best Oxford I own easily and one of my new favorite shirts. So substantial with superb dark color and texture. And the fit is spot on (lg42 at 6' 175)! TS pics nail the color, etc. So nice I tried to get the Tiburon grey. Most surprisingly kick ass piece I received in a while. Seriously blows away the standard Gustin oxford IMHO ( aprrox. $50 more too). The Telegraph jacket on the other hand didn't wow me in any way. The fit is a bit strange I reckon.

I could not stand to let that 20% coupon go to waste and bought the Black Sanded Mechanics. I have worn my Green Sanded Mechanics about 5 times and I noticed today when I wore it how much smoother it had become. The break in on these shirts are real but the fit and feel is fantastic.
Hopefully they don't make any more colors so I won't be tempted to buy them.
I almost bought that dang cherry blossom shirt but decided not to again. I'm sure I'll come back to it at some point and be upset that I didn't grab it but I'm not going to wear it to work and did not feel like spending $100 on a special occasion shirt at the moment.

I've been getting my mechanic pressed at the dry cleaner, finally did a machine wash and dry -- seemed to have shrunk a bit. Anyone else experience this?
And ... ugh! I thought I would be able to resist the 20% off, but, just noticed the indigo pyramid is in stock...

I did not notice any shrinkage.

Just received my M/40 Indigo Cherry Blossom and love it. Used the 20% sale to grab it. I was a little worried that it might be a tad tight in the chest since I've started working out, but it's fine. May need to baby it, cold wash and hang dry.

Just received my olive democratic fit chinos. Aside from the inseam needing a readjustment, these fit beautifully right out of the box. Going to make a special trek to my tailor downtown to get these back sooner. Really excited to mix these into my rotation.
