Nice, looks like I grabbed the last pair in size 33. There is only one pair left now in a size 30.

Man, you've got to love exchange rates. I just paid 195.62 (before shipping) for a pair of jeans that would have cost me 315.00 (before shipping) in the states. This pair of Onis is only 45 more dollars than the Gustin IndigoxPersimmons I just received that are flawed and shouldn't have passed QC.

Awesome ickes. Figured you would cave. Send the NIP's back and ask for a refund on your card. I can't see them not doing it. Worse comes to worst you have a reversal from your CC company. I think if you ask for a refund they will.

They should also refund for the return shipping. Very true. As long as they deem it their fault. I don't see how they can't. If it was just because he bulked out of the fit and the specs were within tolerance, than understandable, that would be his fault. But if they aren't within tolerance, then that would be their fault.

288 Secret Denim with beige weft. 20oz and very interesting nep and roughness to them. The fit is good for me. I think this is what they call the "blue fit". I'm not quite sure what the blue fit means... Just went by measurements.

nice jeffrx. Mine have a beige weft as well. I saw the blue fit on blue in green but wasn't quite sure what it meant but it appears to be a straight fit.

Crazy fabric...sort of a brownish weft peaking through I love these. Is the low tension fabric softer/less rigid? I'm watching Rakuten for 36-288 20oz.

I really want a pair of oni low tension denim...but in olive. Love the indigo but have enough of those and the olive is amazing in person. Just wish a Japanese shop had them in stock.

The fabric is pretty soft, although has a rough texture because of all the neps, etc. These were entirely comfortable from day 1. I did not soak or wash, which would soften them even further. Compared to the Iron Heart 25oz, these feel like sweatpants.

Yea, that's a good point. They did come as one wash, which was good because I don't have to worry about shrinkage. I usually prefer to buy unwashed, but these were available so I grabbed them.

I wanted a pair I could wear in some warmer weather as I will probably have to retire my Iron Hearts for the summer months. After doing a lot of research on Oni I heard several people say the same thing you did, that the denim actually feels much lighter than it is. So I copped the 16.5 oz Oni Unsanforized because I read reviews that said they feel like 14 oz or lighter.

I'm doing a day to day rotation between Oni and IH until the weather gets too hot. Once that happens, I'll work some Gustins in as well as shorts. First-world problems at their finest!
