I hadn't seen that before. Wow! I have jeans in that fabric and love it. It would be a great jacket.

Funny, I've got about an inch, or so, of forward leg twist in the left leg of my 575s, as well. 3 out of 3. That is odd. This soak did increase it a little. I bought some LVC pre wash from Sal and those have skew built in to the left leg. Depending on the weave the leg will twist either to the front or the back of the jeans. Right hand twill twist the towards the back and left hand twill to the front. Broken twill wont twist as prominant. Another way is to avoid unsanforized jeans all together. I actually dig it. |

You got it correct for the right leg, just reverse it for the left. My left leg is wound up about 75 degrees on my RH 575's, but the right leg hasn't really started to move.

didn't think this was an unsanf vs. sanf issue - just a twill issue. i see the twist on just about all of my jeans.

Unsanforized denim will twist much more because it shrinks. So if its ws pre shrunk it wont twist as much

Oooops. @_@  I maaaaaaay.......have a denim addition. Hahaha. Here are my new ONI-517XXBE. They fit perfectly out of the box at size 36 one wash. I.......love them. Slubby goodness with amazing beige weft', perfect taper and a sweet pink selvedge ID. Awesome stuff. Hard to choose between these and my IH's as my favorite pair. Pretty close. |

How is the fit compared to the 36 slim Gustin. The thighs and the waist are just a TINY bit tighter, which meant perfection for me. EDIT: First post wasn't very helpful. Apologies. I should have just said that if Gustin 36 slim fits you, the 517 in one wash 36 will also fit you. |

brentkuz , The 575 that I have are based on the 527 cut. Their is ample thigh space for what you need. The 20oz secret denim can be had in this cut. There are at least 2 shops on Rakuten I have seen with them. Rodeo Bros and Hinoya.

the only thing stopping me is other oni denim. I spoke to io and they said that they would be stocking the majority of oni products. Which cut did you get, whiskeyriver? and what do you like about it? |
