Thanks Ickes. I checked back on this thread and you did get them from frisbee. They don't have my size so I asked them and rodeo bros if they're getting any. I did a short review for you on the fullcounts on the fullcount page. I don't have anything in zimb cotton so they were good for me but they're way less interesting compared to the Oni's or heavy IH's you own. I would recommend you get the Oni secret denim.

I'm eyeing these ones. Quite a bit expensive though. With that price, they land in IH territory.

I'm eyeing these ones. Quite a bit expensive though. With that price, they land in IH territory. Yes, that's the only thing stopping me. They are about the same price but without some of the IH details, in particular, lined pockets, sewn in beltloops, and selvedge inner fly.* The 575 doesn't have any of that. But the 22 oz deep tight denim and fit of the 575 looks out standing. * Not all IH models have these. IH is inconsistent about spec'ing the details on their jeans.

I was traveling for work this week. It was pretty funny getting a full pat down at airport security wearing the Onis. The look on the guy's face was like "wtf is this?" Lol.

Marc the olives are great. i was checking them out last time i was at blue in green...amazing texture. the color is less 'olive' and more of a beigy green...but overall a great color. i'd have ordered a pair already if i could have found them on rakuten...but they're pretty much sold out everywhere. Okay, guys... I slept on this for several nights, but just pulled the trigger (from BiG - nowhere to be had on Rakuten - plus I greatly prefer the clean back pockets). At least I have documented evidence on this forum to present to my wife that you knuckleheads encouraged my behavior. My Oni's arrived yesterday. My word, this is going to be like wearing carpeting. Not just talking about the weight and stiffness, but this is the neppiest denim I've ever come across. As David points out, the color isn't really olive. It's sort of a muddy, mossy green. In person, the contrast stitching looks fine, better than the photos. I have to say, these are an utterly unique pair of jeans. I think I'm going to wait until the fall to soak these and start wearing them. No way I could wear these through the upcoming D.C. summer.

As do I. Awesome denim. Thanks Sal. LOL. Very bad influence I have been for u guys. I started a IH buying spree and now ONI. IH for me, the tops looked great on me. I know the bigger fellers have issues with them as do i except for a few that are sized differently. The ONI stuff is like a juiced up much better version of what N&F does with all that cool denim. I Mean who the hell has Kabuki Vedge or that awesome secret denim? ONI ONE BRAND DOES THATS WHO. Ha that worked out nicely lol

I really want a pair of 21 oz IH's but can't find a pair that are under an 8 inch cuff and will fit my thighs - need 12.5 inches there. The 777's will fit but too expensive. So for now, i'm working on my oni and fullcount fades.

Dirty_Denim, second pic with the Yankees cap is cool! I have that IH vest and wear it the same way, it's good to see it work casually and not full on "workwear" style.

ickes - how dark is the beige weft? I hesitate to say it's subtle but it's not super dark, I actually think it's perfect. It's enough that you notice it, especially in natural lighting, but not enough that it stands out. It's just enough to give it a dirty , vintage look.
