Did you get the indigo too? I debated that color, and thought about baby poop for about a minute but decided that color isn't for me. Nope. I'm not looking for plain blue shirts. I just found it to be a boring color for my tastes. The other 3 colors I'm very fond of. I'm trying to think of what color would be a good candidate next. This fabric and cut is just such a great platform for shirting that I could not resist buying a bunch of them. It just works.

I find it is a color that works with almost anything. My Hill Side red chambray gets a lot of wear because of it. But a nice muted red with those black buttons. That would look pretty ace.

Does TS send email updates on the production status of backed items? I only ever backed the waxed trucker, so don't know if they send updates like G used to do or if they simply send you shipping confirmation once an item is dispatched

Thanks. The waxed long haul trucker has an end of March ship date for orders that were funded up to 600%. I'm curious how long it'll take for them to ship the remaining 300%? Also, are orders sent in the order they were received or is it based on sizing runs?

That was the only time I have though.

I finally got around to soaking my Cone ISC, today. Talk about an adventure. I consulted the email TS sent me, and formulated a plan...somewhat. First, I gave it a short, cold, tub rinse. It bled as described, like a stuck pig. I then soaked it for 8 hours, in a 5gal bucket. Drained it, and gave it another rinse. More heavy bleeding. I decided to give it a bucket wash, with a Tbsp of Woolite Dark. Here's the aftermath..... I gave it 2 more tub rinses, and called it a day. It was still bleeding, but not giving it up quite so easily. It's hanging now, and WILL be worn tomorrow.

Golden Bear CS put me in contact with Arrow Leather Care.
I spoke with arrow leather and they said they so sleeve alterations all the time and will cost 65-75$ plus shipping.
Probably will keep the moto jacket if this company is good at what they do.

The new long haul trucker looks interesting. I wonder if it'll be an IxI variant as opposed to the Cone Mills 68 version they already released. Guess we'll find out tomorrow

It's hanging now, and WILL be worn tomorrow. Pics please when you do. Would you mind posting the instructions they sent you? Mine is en route (my first one never arrived). Thanks. My bad, I totally forgot about this. The next day, I went through my email, and could not find the instructions. Apparently, I must have erased them. Unexpected events kept me from wearing the ISC that day, as well. I've had opportunity to wear it a couple of times since, though. I had a few minutes to snap a couple of potato cam pics today..... I've been wearing it around the house. I'd like it to soften a bit. It's a bit stiff, and is draping a bit funny around the waist.

It's a bit stiff, and is draping a bit funny around the waist. Nice pics, thanks Scooter. It's a hard shirt to photograph. I ended up getting the pre-wearing instructions for the Indigo Selvedge Canvas (ISC) workshirt from TS, and reproduce them here for posterity: "This shirt is highly saturated with indigo dye. Should you choose to wash or soak your shirt, please do so separate from all other garments! Since the shirt will “bleed like a stuck pig,” in the words of our Southern-bred production manager, here are some things you can do to alleviate dye run in the shirt: 1) Soak overnight in a bucket of lukewarm water. 2)Transfer to another bucket of clean water, and let soak for another 8-12 hours. 3) Now, you’re ready to wash the shirt in the washing machine. Wash the shirt by itself in a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. NOTE: if you wash this shirt before rinsing excess dye out of it, the simultaneous run of the dye and friction during the wash cycle may cause the fabric to fade. You’ll be left with a splotchy, less-than-perfect shirt."

So I been wearing my swift mills utility for about 6 months now. It was super stiff when I wore it out of the TS store the day I bought it. I wear it about 2-3x a week in my lab (thank god I wear my labcoat or it would have holes) in that time frame.
I soaked it once in woolite dark/warm water two weeks ago as I sweat a lot so wanted to make sure it was still clean. It is buttery soft in my opinion from when I first bought it. The color has gone from the darkish blue to a tad lighter. It drapes a lot better when soft and worn in. It initially felt tight but at the same time I have a little pouch in the midsection.
Only con on this specific shirt, is the small cuffs as I wear watches daily. I only have one other TS shirt- older chambray shirt but its in a 44. Cuffs are def. bigger but it's a shirt from their earlier day (pic is on WYWT thread).

I have relatively small wrists, and my Task Jacket has tiny cuffs even for me. I don't know how anyone with bigger wrists would deal with it, because it doesn't look right cuffing them either. It's like joggers for arms, spacious all the way up to the wrist, and then tiny.

I returned mine because I did not like the way it draped as it was so stiff, plus it ran a bit large on me, which is odd. I really like the concept, I just didn't the like the execution. I'd like to see them do this same pattern with the cloth from the Chore Shirt. "7 oz. Mt. Vernon Duck Canvas Washed for softness, this duck canvas is the perfect year round layer for working when you need a bit of protection."
