by the way guys, Rakuten is offering 8 times the Rakuten points for any and every purchase made on Rakuten now until August 11th. If you shop on Rakuten frequently it's definitely worth it IMO. I cashed in my points when I got my 634s and that's how I got 20 bucks off.

Vari on Rakuten. They had a lot of sizes in stock. Just checked them out. Their label photo says 34" length, but their size guide says 89cm (35"). IHUK is 35" too. What does your label say? EDIT - I see the IHUK label is 34" too, so maybe that's just what they do for 35". I just need to think whether I need these as well as my G Loomies and Ciano 23oz's as my go to indigos. If I didn't have the Ciano's on order, I wouldn't hesitate on the 634S's. |

I'll check when I get home. FWIW I went by the IHUK size guide to pick my size and the measurements have been spot on to the IHUK fit guide so far although I havent checked the rise or knee measurements yet. |

brentkuz, the 07 is a great shirt, my favourite of the 3 IH's I have. And the Rakuten price makes it a steal. I have the WS version of that shirt, and I love it. Didn't realize that the 07 has been reactive dyed meaning it won't fade, whereas the 91 workshirt version hasn't meaning it will. Different material entirely. Huh. |

It actually looks like one of their slimmer fitting work shirts around the waist. would you say it fits a bit slimmer than the other IH Work Shirts you own whiskeyriver? |

I went XL, and overall it fits larger than the 62, which I also have in XL. But because of the shoulders, I couldn't go down to L in the 91. I love it though, and it's only just a tad large but because of the way it drapes, looks great still. Not too boxy. The 62 is perfect in the shoulders waist and opening, but large in the chest. |

They say the 07 won't fade but they do. Look at the iron heart uk forum under the 07 section. Plenty of 07's with fading.

So, semi-humorous tale that sounds too absurd to be true...I just got done repairing my closet shelving. The entire thing collapsed quite literally immediately after I hung my 21 oz. 666s back up. So that's been fun. Especially since it pulled all of my wife's clothes and stuff down in the ensuing melee. It was a regular ol' shelf-o-lanche.
I muttered to the battered shelving unit as it meekly lay on the ground..."Too heavy for ya, huh buddy? Well, if you can't handle the weight, stay out of the closet..."
...I've had some beers. I'll see myself out......

Update on the IHSH-96 Indigo Waffle shirt.
Wore it the past few days out with the family (went to see Brian Regan, funny guy, check him out) and wore it to work a couple of nites
.
I'm glad I have the shirt but would not recommend it and also will find it Hard to buy another IH Shirt.
I paid $275 for a Shirt!
I have two complaints
1st- the sleeves are much to long, 3" to long . Also the cuffs are to big/wide. So I thought I'd simply add a second button to give the option to make the cuff smaller. Emailed IH UK, for some extra buttons. No Go. UK has no access to buttons! (Now I get it, I understand why) No getting an extra Button!
2nd- the neck is waaaay big (18.5). Do Gorillas wear these shirts? Yes I am one who likes the look, feel, function of a buttoned up WS. Especially this Waffle shirt, as it would make a great under layer under a Denim shirt.
It looks like All/Most of IH shirts that would fit me (chest,shoulders) come with long sleeves and Monster necks.
Yes I love the fabric, style, craftmanship. But that's not enough.... It's gotta fit right.

Let me add. It seems that most makers of WS have an oversized Neck (Gustin, Tellason, RT, Buzz, Sugar Cane). Not sure if the working guys are not only stiff necked but also big necked or what.

I'm sorry it didn't work out. Weird about the sleeves though, as I'd say the sleeves on the IHUK fit pic are about 2" too short. The sleeves on the 96 are also 0.2-0.8" shorter than my 07, 33 and 62, with slightly narrower shoulders too, so they're definitely not on the long side. Is it possible they've wrongly labelled the size?
I'm surprised that IHUK can't source buttons for you, as their customer service is exceptional, from what the guys on their forum say.

It's all good. Like I said, I'm glad I have it.
Thought it was odd they didn't have buttons. Reading the email again, it's the Black cats eye buttons they don't have.
"I would happily have posted some extra buttons to you but unfortunately we simply don’t have any of the black cat’s eye buttons here (and nothing similar). I can ask if we can get some from Japan, but in all honestly you’ll probably be able to get something much quicker and very similar from a good haberdashery or department store"
I'm just going to move them over.

The Fabric and style Soothes my soul. Seeing that reminds me of how bummed I was that the Gustin sew-shop chopped the selvedge off the waffle dobby, and think that I should have just let them ship it anyway. I'm sure it's not the same fabric, but the texture was very similar. |
