always leave them cuffed and only uncuff when you wash? Yep, this is what I do, though keep in mind if you cuff your jeans with this fabric large holes will appear very quickly.

These 634s 21 oz will definitely be cuffers though with the wider hem. Question for the cuffers; when you guys put your jeans away for the night do you uncuff them then recuff the next morning, or do you always leave them cuffed and only uncuff when you wash? I just leave them cuffed. But you do want to keep the cuff clean, so uncuff and brush regularly.

Oddly they will start to wear from the Inside. So the wear/holes aren't noticeable. It takes some time and washes to wear through. And RC can fix them.

That started happening on my IH 633 20 oz Lefty Loomstates after only 3 months. But that fabric is super abrasive and feels like cardboard still ...even after almost 6 mobths in. These 634 21 ouncers are so comfortable compared to them ...compared to almost everything. I dont want to take them off

I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow, I'm super tired right now.
Love the fit as I said earlier. It's like a dialed in 501 fit with a nice medium rise. I actually think I remember Giles saying that the 634 was based off of a 1947 501 cut (I could have the year wrong). I totally get that this fit isn't for everyone though as some guys like a slimmer/skinnier low rise tapered type of fit and I could also see how the cuff opening would get too big for the fellas with bigger waist sizes.
Luckily for me I've kept my waist size down (not always easy btw) and the cuff opening is a nice 8.5" which is perfect for me on a straight fit. These also have a 13" thigh which just perfect for my upper legs as well. I was looking for a straight fit as I feel they look much better than a slim tapered jean when paired with my WS tops that have a roomier fit to them. I don't like the look of a roomier WS top paired with a slim tapered jean in most cases. Don't get me wrong, I like my slim tapered cuts but IMO they just look better with a nice fitting T shirt or a top that's more tailored in the midsection a la the IH western shirts or my TS shirts.
If you're looking for a great, classic straight fitting jean in a superb fabric then you cant go wrong with these. As I said earlier, if you can pick these up in your size off Rakuten it's one of the best deals out there IMO. The best part was I used my Rakuten points and got these for 190 bucks! I used my cash I made off of some sales I made here to pay for them. Worked out great.
Couldn't be happier with these.

ickes - I single cuff all of my jeans and uncuff them before hanging them up. That way I don't get additional wear and tear at the cuff point.

just to be pedantic..but how does one get wear and tear on a pair of hanging jeans?

@bugala - wear and tear probably wasn't the correct word to use. On one of my pairs that I kept cuffed at all times, they've started to wear on the cuff seams. So now I unroll them before hanging them up

ickes, what inseam are they? When I looked at Rakuten, they all seemed to be 34, but I'd want 36.

brentkuz, the 07 is a great shirt, my favourite of the 3 IH's I have. And the Rakuten price makes it a steal.

Clean them out every few weeks. They're jeans, not a work of art.

bugula and bentin - you both make a good point but we're overthinking this one! Let's change the topic! I have a pair of SoSo 21 oz'ers and a pair of G "beasts" which I haven't worn yet - do I need a pair of Iron Heart 21 oz'ers?

But that has almost nothing to do with whether you should.
