Brent, I've been wearing them tonight....not too bad so far. I plan to wear them a decent amount. I wouldn't say wearing a 25oz every single day is something I would want to do, but a few days a week seems do-able. These fit me pretty well, so that helps. I spent a good hour just trying to make the buttons easier to close. That's a battle in itself. Might just do the 19left. I'm sure they will soften up but is rather have a daily pair that you don't stuggle with daily. brent I think that would be a good choice. I don't know if its because my Iron Hearts are left hand twill or if it's the fact that Iron Heart just uses a higher quality cotton than most brands, but my 21oz Loomstates feel thinner than my Lawless jeans I have in the Super Heavy fabric (18.5 oz I believe?). I don't mean this in a bad way at all when I say they feel thinner, I'm trying to say they are easier to wear and don't feel as warm and heavy. It's really an amazing fabric that has a very stiff, rugged, tough, bullet proof type feel to it yet is still amazingly easy to wear considering the weight at 21 oz.*
*They were 20oz pre soak but I will refer to them as 21 oz from now on because my guess is that they have gained at least an oz post soak.

brentkuz I would not hesitate to pull the trigger on those IH 19 oz left hand twills for one second if you have your size figured out. I think if the fit of these Iron Hearts works for you they will be the best pair of jeans you have ever owned. I can easily say that about my single pair of Iron Hearts. They are hands down the single best pair of jeans I have ever purchased.

Anyone have or know about the 666S-21oz that are on Rakuten? IHUK doesn't stock them and I can't find much information about them. In English anyway.

I didn't know the 666 cut came in the standard 21 oz denim. You are right, it's not at IH UK. What information are you trying to find? It's the standard 21 oz sanforized selvedge denim in the 666 cut. Edit: the size chart looks like the waist is a little bigger than tagged size and the 21 oz stretches a fair bit. I suspect I'd downsize one from my usual IH size.

The only info I can find after an albeit short search is the 666s-21 is a collaboration with Rivet and Hide?

I doubt it's a collaboration with Rivet and Hide, or it would be sold only at Rivet and Hide and not generally at Rakuten retailers. General distribution defeats the point of doing limited availability vendor-specific collaborations. (Try to find an IH Pronto collaboration anywhere but Pronto. I try. I fail.)
I really shouldn't be surprised that its available in Japan. It's the most popular IH denim (21 oz) in the second most popular cut (666). The model/weight makes perfect sense as a standard offering.

Guess it's just a japan offering. Might be my go to.

Slubby and interesting denim...I really like these. global.rakuten.com/en/store/auc-rodeo/item/oni-288-o/At 20oz, I'd recommend them highly. I want to grab a pair myself, but I'm spiraling out of control with the number of jeans I have in rotation.

Ugh.... I think I have a problem. Going back to the whole hedonistic adaptation thing. After two days full of wearing 19oz samurai denim I don't feel the same wearing Gustin other denim like it. The hand feel of the Sammy's is amazing. Now I'm looking at oni and some IH. Damn you ickes

Brentkuz - you have had a problem for a while - as have I. The difference is that your problem is going to get even larger and more expensive. But you'll look damn good!

I just had some good eBay flips $325 profit on one trench coat. I bought the samurai's with $200 of that. Ugh ain't cheap.

The Iron Heart 25oz ended up costing me "only" $280-something including shipping. That's what I was billed on my card. That's compared to $450 that I would pay here. The Oni will be similarly "cheap", so I'm saving money, right? Anyway, the trigger has been pulled. Now I'm 100% done for quite a while.

Totally. you basically just got two for the price of one, that's very thrifty of you and your wife should be proud. I think you deserve a new WS or pair of shoes for your good work at bargain hunting

I would not think twice about picking those up at that price. That is an absolute bargain for what you will be getting. I do not own a 634 fit but I like the looks of it and I've got my eye's on a few pairs in that fit. For some people the cuff opening is too wide on that fit but not for me. I think it looks like a great fit. I am already hunting down my next pair of Iron Hearts btw. This is really not good. I've got it narrowed down to about three different pairs right now but haven't decided which one yet.

I think the best fit that Iron Heart has is the 633s. That is the fit that my 20oz are in and it appears that they only make that fit for Self Edge so unfortunately that is the only place you can get them I believe. The 633 is a 634 fit in the top block but it tapers down to a slim fit from the knee down. So it's basically a 634 that tapers to a smaller cuff opening.
