Not going to get into the merits of this, but to answer your question, apparently not. I believe the way it works is European vendors who sell IH, are able to refund VAT to customers outside Europe, but there is some paperwork on their end to make it happen. IH does not want to bother with it.

fwiw, I've never thought of myself as an M65 kinda guy but the fit pics look great (as well as the od look) and makes me want to own one. it's a tough call.

Regarding VAT this is our position:
We do not refund VAT I am afraid. We had a choice when determining our pricing policy either to price high and refund VAT for non European Union customers or price lower and not refund the VAT.
We decided on balance that having our retail price as low as possible and the same for all our customers worldwide was the simplest approach.
And FWIW, we are under no EU obligation to do so.

Good grief...OD'ed M65 even from a epaulet hater. IH sobriety is futile. Was very tough going between the black 13 and the 22. When is the SE sale?

The epaulets aren't my favorite touch, but with the rest on point, its a no brainer for me. Self Edge does a few sales per year, but my better judgement tells me they'll likely move very fast and may not be around by then. I'll grab some fit pics from IHUK--so killer. |

I'm not an epaulet fan either but this feature, along with the pockets/collar, etc., are what make it an M65. With that said, the jacket looks pretty darned good.

Not being a repro focused company, they could have certainly removed them--like they did the zippered hood--and we could all still call it an M65! Haha, but I hear ya--DeNiro would be happy  |

Haha, but I hear ya--DeNiro would be happy true. however, they did upgrade the od version with snap closures instead of velcro which is a nice touch. I also think that the epaulets give it that rugged military silhouette |

Looks killer for sure, and the velcro def confused me on the ihw-13. Not sure why they havnt announced the release time yet? Giles said a second batch is already enroute to UK and tons of venders will be carrying them, but this fanboy want in on the 1st run!

Can't see this hanging around for a SE sale. So sick. The 22 was my first IH jacket. I would almost encourage newcomers to IH check out a jacket before anything. The jacket perhaps affords more room for "wow" than a pair of jeans.
