The purple UHF's are ones i'm slowly coming around on, likwise with the buffalo checks. Purple is synonymous with The Vikings and Prince, so my reasons for avoiding it are local. I got a 101 TG, solely because I liked the blue tint so much. Once I got it and started wearing it, the checks have a lot of depth to them. Nothing as crazy as some of the Flat Head checks out there but still much more enjoyable in person. It really is hard to show through a screen. Everyone needs a check flannel or two I think. I avoided check flannels from IH because I thought they were very average looking. I couldn't help but think of brands like Filson that seem to produce nothing but check flannels. Plus, I tend to gravitate towards IH's unique ombre and check patterns which is where I think their strengths are. But, I do like the green 127. I'll get one someday but there's too many other things I want

Word. I only get butthurt when folks assume my shit is "designer" and therefore "expensive"...a diatribe sometimes ensues depending on decor: "designer, pssst, this is yippe kaizen mutherfecker, Haraki-san!" I think IH has turned us into snobs, but in a good way. I know a girl who was going on about buying True Religion jeans for her 8 yo boy. My first thought was, "that poor kid." The problem is that most people automatically assume expensive means high quality, but this is not the case with a lot of designer brands. I was showing my 107 to my 4 yo the other day and told him he can have it when he's a young man, that is of course it fits him and I still own it The 107 is a great one. I just washed mine last night for the cooler mornings coming up. The snob thing is sad but true. At the same time, I refuse to tell people (besides my girl friend if she feels the need to ask, even then I'll just say "too much") what my things cost. Friends and coworkers don't ask so that helps. Part of me doesn't want people thinking I'm some pompous a-hole, and another part of me doesn't care.... I mean we all work and spend on things we see fit or worth it. It shouldn't matter in theory.

Same here. I'll just say something like, "It's second hand." No point in telling people what you paid for something cuz it makes me self conscious

I will add too that IH's stuff is utilitarian, especially their UHF's. I haven't owned a warmer flannel shirt in my life, so I find them incredibly useful in the winter months. Makes me glad I live in a cold state

There seems to have been some issues.... Giles is asking for info on the IHUK forum, like what platform/browser were you using when it happened.

Giles has stated the 888 cut will be done in overdye but I'm not sure which fabric it will be. Either way, it's great news.

The 888 cut is damn good, real damn good. Fits you like a glove. I thought for sure it would be a baggy style fit on most all people judging by the rise and thigh etc. Makes me truly realize how small my legs are.... lol.

It's a very nice cut that I think will be very popular. Also, every denimhead should own the IH 21oz flagship fabric. I haven't worn a pair of 21oz in over a year or so and I forgot how great it is. Easily a classic.

I mean their somewhat slow but much much faster to change than a pair of N&F I use to have. Another great quality of the 21oz is the blue hues that slowly come out of it. It fades fantastic for sanforized denim. Seems the 888 is quite popular and selling well if their already doing an OD.

I would consider it an average paced fader, not as slow as a lot people make it out to be. I have it in multiple cuts as well, the 634 and 888. The 888 is looking to be selling well and other retailers are also picking it up. Rivet and Hide have them and I think SE is getting it too but not sure. Actually they are already planning 3 more fabrics of the 888 cut; the 21/23oz UHR, 21oz Super Black Selvedge, and an overdye which has yet to be decided.

The front pockets are also deeper on the 888 cut which is a welcome change.

I can't stand phone fades anymore (petty I know...) But that is definitely a plus. It must be selling fantastically if they already have three more fabrics laid out this fast.

What about wallet fades? I carry a front pocket wallet. Fading is inevitable
