Not sure about the 777's. Measurements look fine but the "Super Slim" label worries me. the 555 cut is the 'super slim' and the 777 is the 'super slim tapered.' the 777 cut works for my body type and I agree that it is a little confusing if you don't read the measurements carefully. They should just label them as the slim and slim tapered -- calling them super slim gives the impression that these models might be skinny jeans when they're not. I take solace in the fact that their measurements are likely going to be spot on, so what you see is what you get. Versus other brands that give you a fit guide and are usually only in the ballpark I very much agree with this. The fact you can email and get a pair measured for you is fantastic and takes any guess work out of the equation. The names are misleading for some body types and fits though as you said. I agree they are not "super slim".

I will also agree that the 777 cut is not super slim.

I have a feeling these "Moderate wear, poorly washed leading to holes in the fabric" jeans are going to be more screwed up then I thought. Probably should have looked at the pics on the computer then on my phone. Looks to have more then a few holes. I wonder how washing them makes holes? Should be interesting as I'll just wash them every chance I get to give them Dad fade jeans.

A former Self Edge employee washed his every two weeks and they looked great. I've washed my 633's twice now, only about 50 total wears, and only high wear areas are losing much Indigo. I would be interested in seeing your experiment!

I think my plan will be to repair them Sashiko style, light wash to get any cooties out, wear 20 or so times to get my own creases, then wash after ever use. Hoping those vertical fades go away.

Recieved the used 21oz 777's.
I can work with the few holes. Nothing a few Sashiko stitches won't take care of. The 21oz Denim is some heavy, playable easy to wear. Hoping it'll wear in more interesting then it looks now. After wearing Zim's, OK's, Loomies, etc the IH flag ship denim is kind of standard looking. These I'm going to wash frequently after I get 20-30 wears to establish my creases

How do they fit?

Good (only tried them briefly). Seem to fit very much like the Gustin Slim. I think the larger (36-40") sizes are more generous in the thigh then the smaller sizes.

Rip-stop breathes amazingly well, which is one reason why all US military utility uniforms are made of it.

Taking my new/used 21oz 777's out for a try at work tonight. I'm really liking the cut & fit. Seem very much like the Gustin Slims but with bit more room in the upper block (I think it's an 1" more on the front and rear rise).
Fabric feel is Great! Heavy but usable. Damn Gustin BEAST, 21oz Zim, and CF anniversary denims simply never softened up. Making them a chore to wear. This 21oz is easy going with some heft to it. Looks wise the denim is some what typical. I did buy these used and they seem to have had some wear but not a whole lot of abuse. There 12+ holes scattered about that are fraying. And they're not dark but seem to have been washed a few times. So I'm not sure how these will fade. All and All Very happy with them but even Better I only payed $135.

The 21oz is the only denim I've bought two pairs of, and will continue to buy them in varying fits. (Currently on the hunt for the 8301 SBG though). When new, the 21oz looks so good when in the sun. They fade great I think, I really don't get why people consider them so slow to age. I have visible combing on a pair of 301's that only have 15 wears... I've had other brands that seem to fade more slowly than the 21oz. What you said about the softness is the biggest thing. They aren't a chore to wear, they drape nicely and as the first electric blue fades appear I find them fantastic.

And same here, the IH onslaught seems to be relentless now that I have opened the gates. I love pretty much everything I have gotten though.

I just hope there's enough to go around when they're ready, judging from how fast the work shirt sold out. Either way, plenty of nice pieces coming out this spring.

It's one of those shirts I think you will have to insta buy as soon as you get the notification...and this fall, next spring, whatever. I'm sure it'll all be good! I guess if i happen to miss the 170 there's not too much let down as there's plenty of other great stuff to have.

I'm really digging some of the new lighter weight/short sleeve shirt offerings though...I hope that keeps coming as so far this summer everyone asks me why I'm always wearing long sleeves lol. Just got the last 133 in my size last night - it was too beautiful to let it stay in stock.

Considering, the IH x BO1 are currently selling for $200 in the IHUK Outlet, that is not exactly a good deal. There are still 2 pairs of size 31 left in stock, and at that price, shipping is free, as well.

I'm guessing someone bought them via the IH outlet, determined they didn't fit and is now reselling them for $15 more.

Still find myself eyeballing the 633S OD from SE. Even though I don't need more denim these look sweet. disheveled how are the fades coming in on yours?

I thought the 14oz version were already up for sale? I coulda swore disheveled posted a psa about them somewhere. Maybe they sold out already or maybe they're getting them soon. Either way, the fit on the 633s OD is perfect all around. Looks very similar to the 777 14oz. I like the OD type 3 but i'd have to size up to an xl which would then make the sleeves around 27"+. Guess i could roll the sleeves but for now it'll have to wait
