170 is in hand and the fit is way better than expected--still a tad boxy compared to their westerns but the metal buttons and the different pockets more than make up for that minor quible. The crunchy firmness to the fabric seems much more pronounced than the 129s but it has been a solid year since they were new so its tough to be sure. What a deep DARK indigo and awesome ember like reds and orangey pinks this shirt has; Combined with that off white and classic plaid it has a great vintage vibe. Instant effing IH Classic and now I feel you ickes that owning both the western and work doesn't seem so crazy once the shirt's in hand. Always have the option to sell the other if one gets neglected. Pics to come--the sun is raining on my parade atm

The skew, man, the skew! New one looks great, those others would make good kindling (clearly made worse by the Western yoke.)

That yoke definitely puts a bulls-eye on the fact they're skewed. At least it wasn't the seamstress's fault, but the loomster's (made up word)--some how makes it feel quaint and old fashioned vs just cheap (half joking

Issaquah area is great--nestled in the foothills but just a hop and skip to Modernity. Make it over to Division Road if you can. It certainly has a different vibe than Blue Owl--both are awesome, but DR seems more refined and grown-up.

Have done some really great hiking and backpacking up there over the years. My family lived in Black Diamond when I came along, and I put through Ravensdale quite often on my bike.

They sold the place quite a few years ago, and I haven't been up in that area in ages. Used to be pretty rural back then, and Issaquah was a tiny town. Not so much any more, lol I'm sure your SO knows the lake?

I was referring to Pine Lake, which is up on the hill from Sammamish. I used to boat, fish, and chase girls at Sammamish in my younger days. Great place to recreate.

I'm hoping they come out with some more colors in the future. I picked up a black henley, and thought the 1700 in black would be a little redundant. I'd like to see a green.
