Giles found some more skewed Ihsh-129 ickes and crowd S-XL only. I need a XXL, or XXXL. SE still has a handful of blue, and quite a few green left. If they come down to the $200 price tag, like IHUK, I may nab a green. How is the shrinkage on these, anyway ?

They are sized a bit bigger than most of their westerns and some could almost get away with going a size down. Just fyi.

Just fyi. Yes, I've seen the fit guide. My 102 and 154 are both XXL. But, of course, they are both work shirts. All specs for the 129 XXL look good, except for the shoulder, which is .5"-.7" smaller than my other XXL's. I figured if these have a tendency to shrink lengthwise, I could size up to XXXL for the shoulder, and shrink the length.

These are awesome. Received my pair a few days ago and haven't taken them off since. Very rigid, crisp, and tough...not soft like the 21oz fabric. Great color and breathable since they are a low tension weave. Fabric is also quite hairy/fuzzy. Have you gotten any stretch out of them, yet ? I'm going over the fit guides, and I just can't decide if I want to go size 34 in the 634, or size 36 in the 666. I'd need to get 1"-1.5" stretch out of the waist of the 634, or .2"-.3" out of the thigh of the 666. I really wish they had added a size 35 in the 634. I think it would've been perfect.

I didn't actually measure my waist when I got them but right now my size 34 634's are at 34.5" on the waist. I feel like they have stretched .25"-.5". I didn't need much stretch at all to begin with though so I don't think I'll be stretching mine anymore. I think you could get 1" pretty easily.

Large with a hot wash might do the trick? that would likely work, but i'm still gonna pass on them. I know i'll be kicking myself later down the road too because both colors look great and I won't find them at $200 anywhere. Either way, i'm sure someone scooped the larges up by now so it doesn't really matter.

I was fairly certain the low tension weave will get some stretch. I'm still on the fence. But, I'm starting to lean toward the 666. I went back over the specs for my 666-19L v1, and the thigh measurement is identical. I easily got .2"-.3" of stretch out of the thigh on them. So, I'm thinking, this weave should get me at least that. I'm also thinking, "the devil's cut" has been working well for me... If it ain't broke........

I already knew how bad ass this fabric and cut was because I own the black and grey prison striped version, but I'm still blown away by this white version and am kicking my self for not snagging a black one too.

I grabbed a black one when they first released them now I'm planning on copping the white when they rerun.

f!@k me....SelfEdge just dropped an overdyed version of the new 18oz vintage fabric in the 633 cut. www.selfedge.com/iron-heart?product_id=1764I was trying to save money but the 170 is just around the corner and now this.... EDIT: Correction, this is not the new 18oz vintage denim. This is the older 18oz raw denim that has been overdyed ( www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-666s.html ). Either way, still excited about these.

IHTL-1700 coming in on Monday. Thicker, new version of their thermal. Only crew neck for now, no henley version. IHTL-1700 on the right in the second pic next to their current thermal. It is black but the lighting is off in the pic.

ickes, you size down from your normal XL in the cut and sewn pieces or are they idiosyncratic? Need to prepare for the inevitable impulsive and cognitively compromised moment in March. Also trying to justify the 18oz vintage being a worthy change of scenery from the 19, 21s, 21/23 raw, etc. Pretty hard to pass up for $200.Thanks.

Jdub6 in general I am my normal XL in the cut and sewn pieces. I do have one Large thermal that I ordered by mistake but it's only useful as base piece if I want to layer or sometimes I'll wear it to bed in the winter. I also do have one XXL thermal that must have sewn up a bit small as it fits pretty much like all my other XL thermals. But yes, the vast majority of my cut and sewn pieces are XL (8 out of 10 pieces). The 18oz vintage are easily a different fabric than the 19 and 21s (can't speak for the 21/23oz as I don't own them). They start off as a different shade in comparison, a much lighter Indigo than the 19 or 21s. The fabric also has a very crisp, rigid feel to it where as the 21s is soft from the beginning. The 19oz is a beast fabric also but it breaks in soft IMO. The 18oz vintage is a low tension weave so it's breathable and it's also very fuzzy/hairy which you don't see on the 21 or 19. Easily a great buy at 200 dollars and definitely different enough from the other IH fabrics to justify the purchase.

Now to ponder the typical IH jean sizing dilemma. 634 33 (decision may be made easier as RB is out) and stretch the shiz out of waste as thighs, etc. are pretty generous or hope and pray thighs in a 34-666 thighs work. Always had my eye on those sweet B&SRAW too. Damn this IH sobriety.

Always had my eye on those sweet B&SRAW too. Damn this IH sobriety. Honestly my advice in this situation is to order from IHUK . Ask them to find a 33 634 with the largest waist or ask for a 666 with the largest thighs. Even if you get them in and they don't work out you can send them back for a full refund minus shipping. I know it may be hard to bite that bullet when you can get them cheaper at RB but to me those intangibles add a ton of value through IHUK. I purchased mine through IHUK because I wanted a 34 with the smallest hem and it worked out perfectly in my situation. As for the raw 634 BandS/IH I'm totally with you. I almost copped a pair a few months back but I wanted to wait for the vintage 18oz.
